Right now there is 2 80mm fans in the rear of the case. I want to cut these out with a dremel. Then I want to rivit a small aluminum plate in there with a 120mm cutout so that I can mount the fan and rad inside the case.
For the second rad, I want to do a 120mm cutout above the cd rom bays...
Yes I really was going to get the black ice radiator but I live in Canada and the shop I am ordering from has been out of them for a while. They do however have the swiftech ones in stock in dual and single. Are the black ice extreme 2's really better?
I am just about to go and order a swiftech Apogee waterblock for my P4 @ 4ghz and I already have a swiftech mcw50 gpu block for my 6800gt. I also need a radiator.
The problem is I really want to have everything fit inside of my Aspire X-dreamer midtower case.
Will I lose performance if i...
Try clocking down your memory to 700mhz or 800mhz. It sounds like you could possibly have bad video memory which is causing corruption. It's worth a try.
Is 1.6v vcore safe for prescott chip? Even though it is watercooled?
With my 3.2e clocked to 4ghz (250fsb) full time, I get idle temps of 38 celsius and 45-46c load. These are watercooled temps also. I have vcore set at 1.55volts and I had concerns about having the core voltage set this...
Who says socket 478 and Agp is dead/obsolete? I still have to try a run using my new OCZ EB pc4000 2gb set. I just wish Nvidia would make an AGP version of their 7800gtx!

I get 47celsius idle temps. I don't know what kind of load temps i'm getting yet. It looks like it would be in line with this review over at system cooling.... http://www.systemcooling.com/thermalright_v1-05.html
Just going by my idle temps. I get idle of 47celsius - system cooling gets idle...
I just got the new Thermalright V1 heatsink/fan for my evga 6800gt. Here's my quick down and dirty on it......
When it was completely stock, I could only achieve an overclock of 400/1100.
After installing the Thermalright V1, I could only achieve overclock of 406/1120. It's very funny how...
Looking for decently priced 2gb Corsair memory kit in Canada? Check out Vibe Computers. I'm looking at ordering this kit........ TWINX2048-3200C2. They list it at $390can. That is alot cheaper than a set of OCZ Pc4000. Has anyone hit 250fsb with this Corsair stuff? Heres the link...

P4 2.4c Northwood 800mhz fsb cpu with hyperthreading running @ 3.2ghz stable (1068fsb)...
I think 3.6 is tops for those northwood cpu's. Get a 3.2 prescott and overclock it to 4ghz. That's what I got after replacing my 2.4c that was running 3.2ghz.
I went from a 2.4c to a 3.2e and I couldn't be happier. I also have a koolance exos watercooled system. I easily overclocked to 4ghz perfectly stable. I did have to raise the vcore to 1.5v due to undervolting under load. Just get a 3.2e.... it's much cheaper and you should still be able to hit...
I listed them on ebay. A Koolance CPU-200g and a CHC-A05. They are in excellent like new condition with original packaging. The item numbers are 6788603549 for the chipset cooler, and 6788601816 for the cpu cooler. Or just do a search for Koolance on ebay.

Donny
I had to bump the vcore up to 1.5 volts. But I believe that it's because these asus boards are notorious for undervolting under load. Mine undervolts almost .1 volts under load according to MBM 5. I get idle temps of 39-40c and under load i believe it gets around 46-47c. If you're gonna buy a...
I just replaced my 2.4c @ 3.2ghz with an E0 stepping 3.2e and overclocked it to 4ghz the minute I installed it in my system. I've been happy with it at this speed so I haven't tried to make it go higher yet.
I have been looking at buying the Lian-Li v1100 case, but there may be one problem..... I have an Ocz Powerstream 420 powersupply. It is slightly deeper than a normal psu. I want to know if it will fit in this case before I make the plunge and find out later that it does not fit. Has anybody put...
I have a koolance sytem on my overclocked Amd 2500xp @ 2310mhz. Cpu voltage is at 1.9V and temp never goes over 42 degrees at full load. It idles at 34-37 degrees. I would say that's not too shabby for an old pig of a cpu. Buts it runs perfectly silent. I agree you could build yourself a better...
I never see over 40 Celsius. It idles around 32 degrees too. And I'm cooling the cpu, northbridge, and video card. But I'm still running an ancient Asus Geforce3 video card.... clocked out at 235/535. My Cpu's Vcore is at 1.9v though.

I used uv reactive fluid in my koolance exos without any problems. I installed my blocks to the motherboard and set everything up the way i liked it before filling the system. Then I wired the PSU so that only the pumps turned on and circulated water through the system for about an hour while...
I wouldn't bash Koolance. I just got my Koolance black external unit installed last night with cpu cooler, chipset cooler and video card cooler. Clocked cpu to 2200mhz 1.8v vcore, Geforce 3 video is overclocked to the max and chipset is at 1.7v... I have yet to see it hit 40 degrees under load...
