I'm looking to get a new z68 board and planning to use a couple of IBM M1015 SAS HBAs with it. As they're known to be picky with motherboards I'd like to make sure before purchasing a specific model. Anybody test any z68 boards with LSI SAS2008 based controllers, specifically the IBM M1015?
Any recommendations for a wireless printer. It's for home use and will mostly be printing documents, not really photos. Budget is around $150 and would like it to be as small as possible.
Wondering what the advantages are of either going with an open source solution like pfsense/ipcop/smoothwall/untangle or a commercial firewall product from juniper/sonicwall/watchguard. It would be pretty cheap to buy an intel atom board and run pfsense/smoothwall/untangle but used...

It's brand new and still sealed. I'd like to sell it locally and avoid shipping for $100. Item is in Flushing, NY.

All the documentations show that the spdif digital optical out is supposed to be the orange port. The mobo I got has the red light coming out of the blue port which the doc say is the analog line in. Was this a doc mistake or is the mobo I got faulty? Can any other NC62K owners verify which port...

I'll be using distilled water. Should I just add Zerex or is there something else better?
I was one of the people who quickly bought the Intel D201GLY2 as soon as I saw it. Super small mini-itx mobo w/ cpu for only $70. Then I spent countless hours trying to find a case for it. Every mini-itx case had something wrong with it and didn't really fit my needs. So I tried to make one out...
I'm looking to buy a P35 mobo and wanted to make sure my PCIe x8 RAID cards will work. Anybody have a setup with a PCIe x16 vid card while booting off a PCIe x8 RAID card? I'm mostly looking at the Asus P5K Deluxe/Premium, Blitz, or Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6. Can anybody confirm?
I have the spare parts and would only need cpu, hsf, and mobo for the setup. Ram is kingston ddr400. I'm only looking to spend around $100-150. Can anyone recommend best overclockable combo? I was thinking AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice 2.2GHz for the cpu and an asus mobo. Thanks for any input.
I was able to copy the newest version of remote desktop from vista to my xp install. Now I can have remote desktop sessions in 1920 res. Obviously you'll need a hi res display in the 1st place. On xp go into safe mode with networking and do a search on your system32 folder for mstsc. Make copies...
It's been awhile since I bought a psu. Got a few of the neopower awhile back but I'm sure there's newer and better ones out now. I'm looking for something similar. Something quiet, very reliable and around $100. System will have 10+ hard drives, old agp vid, and 478 p4.
I would like to see the free space and total space stats for mapped network drives to be available after a reboot. "My computer" is in details views and the mapped drives are "Disconnected Network Drive" for drive type and total and free space columns are blank. I would need to click on them or...
