I have always thought that 32bit OS can only support up to 2^32 bits of memory address space, which translates to 4GB. But There is an Vista 32bit system at my work which clearly is able to identify 8GB of ram. How is this accomplished?

Mute PC Speaker option in sound control, something like that I had the same problem, and mute your microphone output etc etc. leave all unwanted outputs muted, then you won't hear these sounds anymore.

I have been getting BSOD on games like Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, so yesterday I turned off Vertical Sync and and it seems to be quite stable for 1 hour ish. Can having Vertical Sync option on cause BSOD?

i get the same crackling/poping sounds with optical or analog signals *sigh* It sounds like the signal going to the receiver is bad, a lot of loss. The same MP3 file from my ipod over analogue has no noticeable noise at all. Tried Flashing Bios, upgrading drivers. None helped.

Realtek 1.90 HD audio driver straight from realtek.com.tw site. And for bios I don't see the new version notes fixing any sound issues.

Hi all: I recently built a computer with Asus p5n-d motherboard with realtech HD audio and a Z-5500 to go with it. But I get a lot of static-y noise when playing music etc, I can even notice the noise when windows sounds play. Anyone have any suggestions on what might be wrong?

I'm using Patriot 4-4-4-12 DDR2 800 also, and i was having ram issues, but the cause is because 4-4-4-12 on the patriot requires 2.2V on the ram, if the default voltage is not 2.2V, you will get a lot of errors with the ram.

I have coolermaster Centurion case and it fits no problem. The only thing is the fan is running at max speed, and i haven't figured out how to adjust the fan speed with software control, because i don't want to use the ugly manual control unit.

Hi, I just installed this cooler on my E8400, I was wondering if the insulting tape on the back plate will degrade over time due to heat since it is made of plastic? Because I am worried if it degrades, it could cause the metal plate to come in contact with my mother board and cause problems.

I can hear some noise when playing back certain music, and I can try several different quality versions of the music and I can still hear the same noise. This only happens in a few songs, and in movie play back it sounds very clear. Anyone have and idea the cause of this?
