Just upgraded from a X-Fi Titanium (non-hd) which I've had since 08 to a Sound Blaster Z and the difference is very evident, the overall crispness and clarity is pretty astounding.

I recommend that once you are in the server of your choice, you alt tab back and close your browser. I'm on Chrome and after I did this, all my issues and chugging went away immediately. Hope this helps.

Need help. My FPS has taken a big hit ever since the maintenance/patch today, dipping to 30fps and chugging bad. Running a HD 5870 on a 2500k. Before today everything was always running smooth about 60fps. Drivers used are 11.10 preview 3. Any idea whats going on here?

For gaming + typing/normal use, my research and personal recommendation points to Cherry MX Brown Switches.

Seconding this. I recently picked up my first Filco Majestouch 2 (MX Brown Switches). Best move I've ever made in terms of keyboard purchases. This thing is amazing and responsive. A real joy to type and game on. Never going back to cheapy membrane keyboards again.

Sadly this isn't possible in real life. Just animations. Oh well.
