Samsung 931bw won't do native res in DVI

I picked up a Samsung 931bw on Black Friday, and its native resolution is 1440x900. It supports both DVI and VGA, but it only came with a VGA cable, so that's what I've been using. I just bought a DVI cable last night, and it just will NOT do its native resolution with it. It works fine when I go back to analog. This whole thing has got me stumped. Any Ideas?

my Samsung 204bw has the same problem, wont do native res correctly... I called samsung, they are shipping me another one with a shipping label in it so I can ship the defective one back... should be coming sometimes next week
