I'd rather use the right side....
It's just simpler. Easier to use. Hell, I use Gnome as my primary desktop, with a W2K theme...
Different strokes for different folks though. I just think Aero is clunky, and bloated. Classic is simple and clean and up front.

How on earth do you have two OS running on the same desktop, sharing the same wallpaper?
I myself personally would rather something that had a bit more effort put into it rather than a "make this box X pixels by X pixels" design.
