comparing the Hanns-G and the Viewsonic and they look identical. Difference I see is at Mwave I can get the Hanns for $100 less, which makes me wanna jump on this deal now!

Any thoughts your help is really appreciated... I have only every bought Viewsonics.

I'd really like to hear from you all, I plan on possibly purchasing tonight so please help!
 
well I jumped last night and to my surprise I made what I would have initially thought was an odd choice....

Newegg w/shipping 649.99

Mwave w/shipping 610.79

so basically a $40 buck difference, I've ordered from Mwave before no issues, and from newegg, and after it was all done and said I clicked purchase on newegg purely for their excellent customer service.

What has happened to me!?!!? I used to be more concerned about price then that! Wow... Anyways... monitor arrives Tuesdayish!

Woot! Was hoping for some feedback but after reading some 75 reviews and seeing another guy purchase the model before this one that posted his results in this forum.. .I jumped!

So now I have two vx922's and the Hanns 28incher... I will duel monitor my faster machine so that I can surf, ventrillo, and check email while playing Vanguard!
 
What you did was understandable, people who always buy from the lowball vendor on pricewatch/pricregrabber etc.. are the ones who get burned. Having said that, pretty much any reputable vendor will replace a monitor that arrives damaged or DOA, but you're likely to have as much trouble returning to Newegg for dead pixels as you would Mwave. Anyway, I've purchased all my monitors online from various vendors and haven't had any issues.

edit- good luck with your two monitors "fighting" each other...hope there isn't too much damage.:eek:;)
 
Hehehe yeah the dual monitors are very nice! I've got to perfect the arrangement of the monitors and how I set them up but all I have to say is damn they look nice! The Hanns-G is very bright, I will definitely need to tune it down a touch. With Vanguard you see soooo much more world with this size! I love it! And the monitor shows no signs of tearing or ghosting!
