Affinity changer - Dual Core

In ref to theF@H affinity changer, been reading it can also help dual core systems as well.

I turned it on about 30 min ago, and whet from 1724PPD to 1900PPD on E6600.
Also went from 1244PPD to 1409PPD on my E2140

Anyone else tried this?
 
In my case it improved performance of my dualcore SMP (E4400 @2.7Ghz) by 10-15%

AMD CPUs are not supported and some people with AMD procesors are reporting worse (and some report better) results using Affinity changer....
