Abit AW9D/AW9D-Max support 45nm CPUs with the latest BIOS update

It's nice (socket support from first the LGA775 CPUs to 2008, a long time of about 3.5 years) and also crummy. Why give such an old chipset 45nm support while the newer Abit P965 boards get none?

I'm glad I grabbed two of these AW9D-Max boards at Fry's when they were $50 on clearance.

there are betas for the AB9/AB9 Pro & AB9 QuadGT with 45nm support.

that was a great deal you got on those Maxs.

You got my hopes up. It's only for the QuadGT model. No beta BIOSs for the regular AB9 or AB9 Pro and the IB9 beta doesn't have 45nm support.

yes, there is.
I suspect that the IB9 may not get 45nm support (don't think that it was a great seller) but I could be wrong.

Where? The QuadGT and regular AB9/AB9 Pro don't use the same BIOS.

edit: I found it on techpowerup.com. Some people are reporting success on beta BIOS 23, but others earlier in the thread are reporting SATA problems. That's useless for me since i only use SATA without legacy support.
