I gave Arma 2 a fair shot, unfortunately it didn't pull through for me. I'm hoping this game capitalizes on their mistakes and this game turns out great!

While I'm sure Modern Warfare 2 will turn out well, I really hope this game (being a tactical shooter as opposed to an arcade shooter) makes a stand in the FPS genre.

I've been looking foward to a demo release of this. I bought arma2 but have been dissapointed in the performance. This looks to be a nice balance between graphics and performance. We'll see.

My man I know how to set settings just fine. Don't assume things you don't know. Nuff said on that.

That being said even having settings set properly I'm still not a fan of the fps drops in certain situations and how the engine feels overall. Period the end.

Are you kidding me? Even Bohemia admits to having low performance issues. The 1.4 patch was entirely dedicated to optimization because the game ran terribly. This thread isn't about your lack of knowledge and run on sentences so please post elsewhere. :rolleyes:

Anyway, Savoy you mentioned a demo. They will be releasing a demo post release unfortunately. They said they wanted to focus on the game first instead of splitting their time between a demo and actual game. Some people have been getting early copies and the reviews generally seem positive, I'm quite excited!
 
I went to their forum to check out this game, as i was waiting for it, but now i'm having my doubts. From what i saw over there they cut the game down quite a bit, outsourced MP to different company, no dedicated servers, don't have server browser, can't join the round while in progress, no demos until after release, 32 player max for PC, and on and on... I'll wait for real user reviews and see what they have to say before i get this game. Multiplayer is main selling point for me in this game, and they are not answering any questions community was asking them over there. It would be a real shame if they take this game and turn it into Frontlines Fuel of War.
 
Ya I'll wait for some reviews before pulling the trigger. Sounds sensible to me.
 
The demo was delayed till post launch so we will have to wait and see. I have been watching this game for quite some time and I'm still up in the air. I just really hope they haven't consolized the game too badly....

It would appear you have issues with run on sentences and using hillbilly words like 'ain't.'
