Correct but im not dropping any money currently. im going to put some money aside every week until i have enough to buy a GPU. I am in the interview process at a couple new jobs that are fulltime much better pay. Im only getting an idea of what to buy that goes well with a Ryzen 1600
plus taxes...
I appreciate everything. I did find a webpage a biddy of mine sent to me gpucheck and it did show that the Ryzen 1600 vs a 3600 with a 2070 did bottleneck where the 3600 obviously had much higher FPS. I also did a comparison with both cpus with the 5700xt and same result. their is a bottleneck...
thanks for the video and reply's. I will check out the video. so far i have only been able to hit 2666 with my x370 and ryzen 1600. I tried setting DOCP which put my ram at 3200 but i kept getting crashes. I also tried 3000 and 2933 and could not boot. 2666 booted perfect but i have not played...
I have been put of pc gaming for awhile and could use some help. I got laid off last year so my buddy helped me get a pc up and running
Specs below
Ryzen 1600 (older AE)
DDR4 3200 16gb
Corsair cx650m
Asus x370 pro
Rx560 4gb
Here is my question i want to start saving to buy a new GPU. I am...
Back in 2017 we lost everything due to x2 layoffs and I was able with a friend's help get a PC again which I'm thankful for but I would like something newer at taxes but holy smokes ram and gpu prices are hurting any build for me.
My current PC is: 8350, 7970, sabertooth 990fx 2.0, 8gb skill...
Mining has put a damper on any new build for me until prices drop. I'm still running an 8350/7970 for right now.
I had planned on a Ryzen 1600x/1700x at taxes which I can build but with GPUs being insanely over priced and who knows when the mining market will crash I have no clue when I'll be...
the GTX 770 has been night and day honestly. The 660 was able to run witcher 3 everything on LOW at 50 fps
i am now able to put every settings on HIGH, AA on, Shadows Medium with Foliage Visibility on LOW and stay at a steady 60fps no matter where I am
Once I turn on Foliage Visibility my fps...
Not how he works unfortunately. He won't give anything away for free. There is always a cost but I did talk him down to 50 and i sold my 660 for 35. I picked up the 770 and I'll use it till taxes and im gonna build a 1070 setup. The wife and i talked and we're good on a new rig
i was going to until he offered me the 770. I sold my 660 today for 35 so i figured that out of pocket would cost me 40 bucks on the 770 which I thought was not totally a bad deal since it is an upgrade over my 660. My wife told me if i can wait for taxes then i could build a completely new rig...
i did not even look on ebay and did not notice they are only about 100 bucks. I thoughts they go for more so I thought 75 was a good deal. My 660 struggles so bad with witcher 3 & I just want to play them game. I had it on xbox one and thought because it plays on xbox one fine that it will play...
ok I am wondering something. i currently have a GTX 660 and my buddy offered me his MSI GTX 770 that has not been used in years (Sitting boxed in his closet) for 75. Now If I turn around and sell my 660 on craigslist for 35-40 I will only be paying 30-35 for his GTX 770
I have read but not sure...
