I know it's a common issue with the Intel 750 to not boot from a cold state but I was wondering if the SM951 does? I preordered the 950 pro to replace my Intel 750 that doesn't boot from a cold state, but if the SM951 doesn't then I might as well cancel the preorder. Thanks in advance.

I get the exact same thing on chrome as I do Internet explorer (all cache wiped out and history removed and cookies removed) which isn't "amazing" same thing in incognito mode...

why don't i get texture stremaing/pop-in issues on my gtx 570? Could an SSD be causing it (i got one). This game runs as smooth as any other game, i just don't see the issue you guys are talking about.

If it wasn't for ID, most of us wouldn't know what a config file is and how to tweak it/why to tweak it, at least in regards to gaming. So now, the company that introduced us to this is now the company we are despising for making us do it with Rage. Sheesh!

I wish I knew which situation you are talking about. I own the game and am having a blast playing it. It runs great on my gtx 570 without screen tearing (turned on vertical sync) and without texture popup. Amazes me people are flipping out about this game and its lower textures. The freaking...

The M17X is not a rebranded sager/clevo... and they are now owned by Dell which makes them not a boutique brand any more :| Also, their price is fairly resonable now (except when compared to the G73, it rocks everything in price/performance ratio) Oh and the M17x uses an aluminum cassing...

Why not upgrade to the red camp or at least wait till fermi is out. Doesn't seem smart to sell your two cards and upgrade to another card that's not much better. I have two gtx 280's in SLI and I am getting the upgrade bug as well.. but realistically where do you go if you don't want ATI? No...

When I had 3gb of memory my team fortress 2 would hit a minimum of 2fps (never saw it, but it showed it in the cl_showfps 2 log). But my SLI gtx 280's were still averaging roughly 120fps. Then I moved to 9gb of memory and the same log shows about 24 as my low. Again, I never actually notice any...

why post this? and why not keep the 280gtx?
