I don't know for sure how long a 5870 is, but if it is only 0.25" longer than the 9800gtx from my quick googling then yes there will be no problem fitting 5870s in the case.

I noticed you replied to my thread about the CM case + hard drive deal. I was wondering if you could definitively answer the question: will a 5870 fit in there or not? It's an 11" video card.
