Yeah, I wasn't sure how to match the memory on the Nvidia list with memory from Newegg for example. I guess I'm trying to figure out if I should buy the $250 680i board or buy a $150 board. I'll be getting a e6600, new memory, and already have the 8800 gts.

I read a review a while back that said that the Nvidia 680i has a feature that can automatically overclock itself including the memory (Trying to find it again). Has anyone ever tried it? Also I went to the Nvidia site to look up compatible memory. There was a long list, but the numbers...

Does regional encoding effect DVD drives? i.e. will I still need to buy only Region 1 movies? I did a search and found a thread about a drive "locking" in the region. Is this right or will a drive play any region?

Not sure, but I haven't seen anything negative about ti when I was buying mine; and of course I haven't had any problems with mine so far.

Sounds like you speaker wires might be hooked up wrong... So your speakers did 5.1 before this?

I replaced my Audigy 2 ZS with an X-Fi music, and BF2 would crash to the desktop as soon as I switched to X-Fi and Ultra settings :eek: As soon as I installed the X-Fi patch, no more problems. That was how it worked for me and my system....
