1. Yes I would consider liquid cooling for my GPU because I am currently considering going liquid cooling for my CPU as well for my new build.
2. Pre installed might be a good idea for some due to ease but I wouldn't mind either way and I think having options is always good.
Actually i asked one of the sales guys and they said as long as I have the receipt and its within 15 days they will honor it and give me the $40 off a motherboard, but if that fails I can just return the CPU within the time period and rebuy it because its not even opened, but regardless I am...
I was trying to before.... even tried to get an electrician to modify my outlets for 30AMP outlets so I could use the full 1600w LOL..
No more.. its just sitting there so I might as well use it now instead of buying a new PSU
The PSU was like my R.A.T. 9 Mouse I bought a long time ago and...
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Mostly Gaming & Web Browsing and some Photoshop
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$400-$500 (not counting Tax and Shipping)
I am just looking to buy a Motherboard/RAM/CPU Cooler/Blu-Ray...
I don't need it but I want it for the sake of winning something for once.
I still have a 7800 GTX and a 280 GTX for other computers but this one could be a start in building my new system. I haven't upgraded or bought anything computer related in 3-4 years.
After reading this and that, I think for my search for a 30" monitor, I am going to get me a Dell 3007WFP-HC.
Now what prices have you guys paid for this monitor before taxes and delivery?
I might just end up waiting for something like a 25% off the price or some kind of sale from Dell...
Cool, glad its working for you, tho for my peace of mind, I would of probably put a repeater at 20' or so.
I am betting for shorter cables there isn't too much of a difference, but for the longer ones as you mentioned (50' and etc), I am not too surprised with the results.
Personally, I...
So can I run my Q6600 and a 280GTX on a Corsair HX620W??
Man I hope not to ask these questions on my near future build with my Ultra 1600 X3 I purchased last year.... Sigh..
I bet diagrams would be so much clearer to explain what I was trying to say. hehe.
Regardless I do understand.
But I do want to try to explain why I was confused. (Let's not think of the PSU being a single rail for the moment, and think of it as terms of number of output plugs it is)...
Didn't mean to confuse..
Let me see if I can clear this up.
Basically, what I am asking is, can I hook up one 280GTX using just one of the 6 pin (12v) rails if one cable splits into 6 pin and a 8 pin?
If I may ask, how are you powering up your card(s)? Just want an example I guess.
I noticed that my Corsair HX620W only came with two 6pin PCI-E cables and no 8 pin for the new video card I just got (Evga 280GTX), so I sent them email that I needed a 8 pin PCI-E cable.
(Good customer service, replying back within a day and got my cable within 3 business days excluding the...
Here is my build finally. Sheesh too many problems here and there (cutting hole issues, aluminum bottom feet issues, paint issues, many more lol)
This is my first attempt at cable management and case modding. I been looking at this thread for a while now trying to see what I could do for...
I have the exact same problem right now with my new 9800 GTX.
I tried updating the driver, and still no help as well.
I think its the video card and it is probably running hot.
First time it happened, I turned my comp off for a few hours and it was fine then it came back.
I put a ton...
Right now its constant. I turned it off for a few hours and booted it and same thing. It only happens to video and in any 3D games.
I will try to get a infrared temp reader so I can measure the card but other than that I don't know how I could measure the temp of the card.
I might just...
