lol for sure...dude, i've had this damn monitor since like 2009 and it's served me well for so long...it's just time to move on. That's really what started me even looking at a PC upgrade. I was thinking I would upgrade my monitor this year, but my current machine would not be able to handle...
yeah, the 7950x wasn't really chosen for gaming alone. i will game on it, but it won't be the primary focus. the new monitor will come later, that's next to research. lol
Oh for sure, I agree that 64GB of ram is going to be the future go to. My current machine that I have now has 32GB and I built it back in 2015 so getting 32GB on this new build will probably be doubled at some point.
Yeah, this thing is way overkill for 1920x1200 no doubt. The monitor will be...
I would consider that..as I'm curious to see the benchmarks of those new chips.. but they have already confirmed that the 2/14 release date was not accurate. so really no concrete release date yet on those. 😢
Hmmm.......I think that just might have to be my board choice. Seems perfect. Thanks for the suggestion. 🤘
As far as the RAM goes, it looks like those are all XMP like the one I posted initially. I thought a previous poster said those were the wrong ones for a ryzen build? 🤔
So I'm curious why so many people say to not get a B650 board and to spring for the X670. The jump in price is pretty significant and in doing a stare/compare on the manufacturer's page...I really don't see any huge differences that stand out that would matter to me. I don't need wifi, I...
Interesting... I didn't even know about a new ATX 3.0 standard. I found a reddit post about it and it seems that none have even been released yet. I'll keep an eye out...thanks.
I wouldn't say this new machine would be primarily gaming..I will game on it, but definitely not mostly gaming...
See, this is why I posted...lol. it was indeed XMP and according to their website...the AMD EXPO does not come in white. Back to the drawing board...lol
Thanks, I really prefer the looks of the Hyte Y60 with it's angled glass corner, but the larger non-founders edition 4080/4090 cards sit too close to the side glass to really cool well. =(
