Has anyone with Vista 32 bit had the 'no audio output' bug, which is apparently a well known Vista bug affecting many different hardware manufacturers?
I've done every single 'standard' fix, ie uninstalling drivers, trying to use default windows drivers, trying every soundmax driver...
The website lists it as 'compatable' with 30" monitors, but it's not clear to me what that means. Can it fit 4 of them? It seems like the dimensions shouldn't quite allow that, but by a small enough amount that I'm curious if it works.
There don't seem to be any pictures on the internet...
I have a 3007 and 3007wfp. I think you'd be nuts to even consider the Eizo for 2x the price. I simply can't imagine looking at either 3007 and thinking that it's not adequate for your purposes.
That being said, if I were in the market now I'd get the Gateway, hands down.
Also, in another...
Yes, the new gateway has a scaler, so it can take non-dual dvi devices like HDTV boxes and video game consoles and scale them up to the monitor's full resolution. The other 30" currently out there can't have anything other than a computer's video card act as an input.
Let me put it a different way, regardless of what LCD someone is using they're probably doing something wrong if they have their video card set to a resolution other than the monitor's native resolution. Nobody is using an LCD scaler for any reason that I can think of, for a video source that...
You don't understand a key point. If you have your video card outputting 2560, there's nothing stopping you from playing the game at whatever resolution your card can best handle. There's a conceptual difference between the resolution your game is rendered at in its 3d graphics engine, and the...
I don't know why people are getting caught up in this. Do you really watch many movies at 24fps that have stuttering with 3:2 pulldown?
As far as I'm concerned, it's the most absurd selling point to come around in a long time for display technologies.
To have a larger monitor with a 2560x1600 res.
By your logic, the smallest panel that physically allows a certain resolution to be displayed, would be the best choice.
I have both in a dual monitor setup. The HC seems to have deper colors, but no way would I buy one to replace the old 3007. I don't care about calibrating or anything, so I can't speak for differences once that's done. I just use them for stock charts.
If you don't have any warranty left...
