I went to bestbuy today to check out this monitor (2207). They had it hooked up to a new HP computer. I first noticed that there was ghosting all over the image, so im like wtf.... then I checked and they wernt even running it at native resolution. I tried to change the resolution in vista, but...

well even so 10000 dynamic contrast is gonna kill the 1000 real contrast of the westy

the black levels on the westinghouse are crap. I compared it to a new samsung at bestbuy today and the samsung killed it in blacks and shadow detail. that new 32" sharp looks nice (i want it), but there is no dvi input (non gaming version) and i dont know if it can do native resolation at...

can you explain what this means? like if i set the resolution in windows to 1920*1980 does that mean i cant set the refresh rate to 60hz? i dont think that seems right

maybe instead of talking out ur ass, you read some user reviews and what not.... washed out colors lol... keep em comming buddy.. plus this monitor came out in 2005, i was just referring to it as a samsung example... definetely not low end.... but its ok s-ips funboy. knock urself out..

why dont you go have sex with an s-ips panel.... no seriously just becase its s-ips doesnt mean its the best... lots of high end samsungs and whatnot dont use sips and they are the top monitos.. same with eizo and other top brands....
