Oh, Ok. I see what you guys are saying. I did misinterpret. I would think ATI would have a substantial law suit against nvidia if they tried to do that. They would basically be saying that the PC is now their proprietary gaming console.

Question: Being able to display a 3D image on a 2d display has been around for a very very long time. How would NVIDIA be able to stop ATI from using this technology also? NVIDIA doesn't own the patents to reproduce a 3D image on a 2D device. This technology has been everywhere...
