    Thanks for the ego boost gang :D And no... I'm not dead. Many may be suprised to know that the system I posted the pictures of in the "Post your 'rate my cables' here" is still up and running in exactly the same setup as those pictures. I've made no upgrades, additions, or modifications...

    Certianly not to "toot my own horn," but it is possible to build a PC with lots of stuff inside and still have wiring look nice. Take a look at some of the systems in the thread linked below (mine among them) and I think you'll see a few systems where folks have invested some time into wire...

    Depending on the motherboard the CPU socket can be positioned differently. I have an ASUS motherboard where the CPU socket is turned 90 degrees clockwise from my main system... just depends on the mb model and maker. I wish mine was 90 degrees one way or the other so that I could have pulled...

    Wow! Thanks for the kind words everyone! The system represents weeks and weeks of work, I would constantly find myself running out of heat shrink, or sleeving, or connectors and had to make several orders to get in everything I need. This isn't hard to do, I'm sure most anyone else could have...

    It's the CoolerMaster Hyper 6 heatpipe cooler, and the thing is VERY heavy. I'm very happy with it as I can run a slower RPM fan and still get great temps without as much noise. All fans are on silicon isolation mounts or have silicon gaskets. Slower fans and still having good temps make me...

    All cables were built by hand from parts ordered from performance-pcs.com and my local hardware store. I started by chopping the cables at the PS and building each cable run by hand. All fan cables were unsoldered from the fan and built from new cable to custom lengths. USB cables were built...
