No problem configuring it here, not using the software. I prefer the mx1000 shape over the 510.

The V6 and 7506 are supposedly exactly the same, at least at some point. I've seen pics of a set someone had (on head-fi I think) where one side was labeled V6, while the other side was labeled 7506 ;) And you can get velour pads from bhphotovideo.com

Put Beyerdynamic DT250 Velour earpads on the V6s. I have done that to mine and they are super comfortable. About $20 for the pads. See them here.

I tried it today, metroid prime just blew me away with the thumb strap thing for control. So I bought one :p The whole touch screen idea was brilliant.

I prefer closed myself, it's very subjective when it comes to these things :) I'd like to try in-ear etymonics some time as I hear great things about them.

Well I should have said the best in that affordable price range. There are certainly better ones if you pay over 2x as much :)

I love my Sony MDR-7506 headphones. Great sound quality, low price (about 70-$100). They are industry standard phones, used in studios, DJs, etc a lot. You can also replace the pleather pads with Beyerdynamic dt-250 velour pads for about $25 which makes them all the more better. Best closed...

It's interesting, but I'm not buying one yet because I don't see any very interesting software for it. I'll see how the PSP turns out.

Ravenholme was cool, but HL2 never comes close to the creepiness of Doom3 or Thief3.

I've noticed that the bot driving sequences are making me feel a little wierd. Strange, as I can spend days on a fishing boat and not feel a thing.

This is just a shot in the dark, but it appears a lot of people are having sound related problems and stuttering. Lowering sound quality in the settings seems to help alleviate this, as it seems to have done that for me. If you can't get in the game to set this, you should be able to in the...
