Intel are normally. 400mhz faster. So an AMD at 4ghz would compare to a Core 2 Duo at 3.6ghz.

Thier using the B1 core at the start which sucks. It uses too much power for the clock speeds. Wait for the B2 core thats the sweet spot as it uses much less power.

Same ive hit 1200 odd no problems but i turned the multi down as people say it can corrupt the hard drive or something. :confused:

Yer with Intel chipsets only allowing Crossfire and nvidia chipsets being the daddy on AMD. It seemed normal that it was AMD/Nvidia and Intel/ATI.

Mainly due to drivers. Its new ground for both nvidia and ati so it wil take a while to fix.

Dont care, if a certain card in my price range owns all the others, then ill have that. If nvidia and ati have 2 cards which perform equally then what ever one has the most goodies.

I hope they keep around 14 rops and dont kill too many stream proccessors.

I dont belive the double the speed of a 8800gtx. It would need huge amounts of stream processors which they havent stated, high clock speeds and shader speeds.
