I just got my subscription to Atomic and there is a review on the Gigabyte Duel core 6600GT in there and from the initial Reports from them this thing is a Screemer. They showed it besting a X800XT and SLI<ED 6600GTs in just about every benchmark?
The only letdown of this board i can so far see...
No im Not kidding ? To me 6800NU would be the minimum tradeup from a 9800Pro? As i will state again there is not Enough REAL WORLD gaming diffrence between a 9800 and a 6600GT to warrant the upgrade (IN MY OPINION).=yours may vary lol.
Me my Self, i wouldnt bother upgrading from a 9800Pro to 6600GT there just isnt enough of a boost in realworld performance. But if you can find the 6800nu for around $250 that would be a nice little jump. ;)
Fare points ;)
I think you read me wrong  I was talkin about Macci and Opainter might be getting a test run on a reference model R520.I know an X850 even with 512 of ram would need to be extremely clocked to even hope to get that score.
But hopefully we shall findout more soon.
Well funny thing is everyone laughed at the inq when they said NV40 was gonna be a 16piped card? Then it was also laughed at when they first told of the 6800GT? Not bad rumors considering both were pretty much spot on.
I also think i read from somewhere i think it was beyond3d that macci and...

To Topic if...
I would say just save the cash and see whats out in the 2Q of this year. The 9700Pro is still a Very good card. And a 6600GT while being better, isnt gonna have you passing out in awe with the power diffrence.
That card should work fine.Or if you can find a cheapo 9200 with DVI that would be better. And dont worry about some people in here there answer to nearly every thread lately is 6600GT SLI 6800GT lmao.
The 9200 is DX8.1 And a newer card so it will be a better option than the 7000.More driver...
As was already stated, No card stock off the market these days is Really quite? But with the help of something like a silencer or heatpipe solution. Your sound worrys are over ;) As for most powerful? Well thats all up to the users tastes these days? Oh and the color you like? Green or red are...
