I didn't address his point because it's a non-issue. From the text of the executive order there's nothing for the president to abuse. The actual text of the order is very bland and appears fairly harmless. It's an action plan for emergency preparedness that defines roles and responsibilities...

There are different motivators for "going green", some altruistic, some not. It's true a lot of corporations are doing it for image reasons. They're motivated by money. They learned there's more money for them to make when their customers don't have to feel guilty...
That's not a solution, that's a hassle that I don't have to deal with now. Why would I want that trouble? With a standalone client I can have more than one inbox open on the same screen where I can quickly and flexibly do what I need to with my mail... Like easily saving messages to local...
No, webmail solutions aren't good enough, not by a long shot. How are they supposed to handle multiple accounts? I don't want to have to log into a different site or open another app each time I want to check a different email.
That persons post wasn't advocating socialism in the slightest, so why even bring it up? By losing side of history, I'm talking about movement conservatism.
