Kind of feeling the same way. I loved Doom 2016 but for some reason I still can't get excited enough for this one. Level design seems different, story seems much more pronounced and it just feels they're trying too hard to make everything "cool." I hope I'm wrong but I wait for the reactions first.
Entirely agree. I had forgotten about the "butterfly" boss, thinking about her and the role she had in the story immediately makes me frustrated again. There were many opportunities for a good story, but they kept ruining it with bad plottwists and cheesy dialogue. One of the things that...
I'm from the Netherlands and personally I feel it's a good law. If you really need to use a phone, just stop and go to the side of the street or something.
As for people saying it's their own fault if they get into an accident because they're using a phone; what about the people affected by...
I can't believe there are people complaining on Youtube that this is more of the same. WTF? The majority of fans wanted more of DOOM, not for ID to reinvent the entire game. And this is exactly what they deliver: More awesome DOOM action, but bigger, better, smoother and even more amazing...
Thanks for the link. It's a great patch, but I always preferred the 3d9 or OpenGL version from OldUnreal. https://www.oldunreal.com/oldunrealpatches.html
For some reason the colors are less vibrant on the 3d10 version but that may just be because of my computer, I'm not sure.
If you have Unreal Gold and want to try a higher resolution, you can find the patches (unreal227i) on this Unreal fansite. https://www.oldunreal.com/oldunrealpatches.html
This patch will allow any resolution and really improves the visuals of Unreal. It allows for a more modern renderer (3D9 or...

If game developers follow your reasoning a game would never be released because they would be working so long on the story they would never get it finished.
Witcher 3 had a complete story in the base game. If they had added both expansions to it, it would have taken another year or so...
I just finished the campaign of Sacrifice. A real-time strategy game made by Shiny Entertainment and released in 2000. Players control wizards who can summon creatures, cast spells, sacrifice souls to their god, and eventually have to desecrate their enemy's altar. (Main base)
There are five...
Don't talk to me like i'm a little kid who doesn't know anything. For years I'm following the news from different sources like CNN, BBC, Fox, RT.com, Sputnik, Al-Jazeera, Chinadaily/Xinhua, PressTv, etc.
I've looked at information myself, especially about MH17 (of which we still don't know who...
I'm glad you're able to keep an open mind. I did the same as you for years. But I gave up about a year ago after years of wasted and bitter discussions. Those discussions always ended with me being accused of being a "western lapdog," a Merkel fanboy, a Muslim and immigrant lover, being blind to...
Delicieuxz No person would go to so much trouble digging up links and graphs to prove something without having something to gain from it. Overloading your posts with "proof" no one has even asked for shows you have an agenda. I see people like you everywhere on the net, luckily you and your...
It was a great move from Blizzard going back to their roots. Wherever there are discussions or comments, people are already taking sides. I'm not a Wow player anymore (can't invest the time to keep up) but I have to say both Sylvanas and Anduin were awesome, and I loved how they inspired their...
I feel the same way. I had a lot of fun with this game, and I'll certainly replay some of the levels, but the last few hours started to feel like a drag as well. I think it started around Titan's Realm. One arena after another. I loved the Crucible level after that one though, but the rest of...
