Maybe because you turn it off at the power point or remove the power completely. If you switch it off using the button on the front, you won't get the Dell logo. I think i've removed the power or turned it off at the power point about a grand total of 4 or 5 times in my 6 months of owning...

But is that Dell Begium price discounted to begin with? You quoted the discounted Dell price but probably the undiscounted price in Belgium. Obviously it won't be the same price, but the difference won't be as massive as you make it out to be. I love the amount of misinformation that flows...

lol, the only difference between revision A03 and A04 is that A04 can do 1:1 scaling on some resolutions that couldn't in A03 (namely 1600x1200 and 1920x1080). Revision A03 has no colour banding either. I don't know where you got 'cheap components' from, because if it has it, then the A04...
