    DoubleSight DS-263N - 26"

Neo-flex arm is a bit too weak for this monitor. I am using it currently but needed some supplemental support (a stack of post it notes right now :) ) its a bit too heavy, and since you have to mount the 100x100mm square off center, it tends to tilt sideways.. I would have stuck with the...

    DoubleSight DS-263N - 26"

I have that arm right now with a 24" and im going to try it out with the DS on monday probably. I think it supports 18 pounds max, and maybe the DS is less than that after you remove its stand.

    DoubleSight DS-263N - 26"

I got one of the remaining few at amazon. they're out of stock for now... I have been stuck with a samsung 244t for a long time now. It has great picture quality but I have just hated the input lag and played FPS games less often due to it. My mouse cursor isn't even responsive in windows on...

    2900PRO Overclocking

forgot to mention I'm running a 450W PSU. That could perhaps be limiting the overclock. I have had system reboots rather than just the machine locking sometimes with too high overclocks, and in my experience that usually means a power issue.

    2900PRO Overclocking

i tried to push it a bit further and failed. 825/950 failed. so 800/900 is the sweet spot for my card.

    2900PRO Overclocking

if your temps are that low mayhaps you should clock it at about twice the speed ;) Mine is stable at much higher temps, you should not worry about 62C load!!!

    2900PRO Overclocking

800Core, 900Memory. I got the sapphire 512MB version. Tops out at an insanely high 95C core temp, but the fan kicks into high gear and brings it down at 85 after that. Seems stable! no crashes yet. I have not tried a higher clock speed yet because of the Temp. I don't know how high it will go...

LCD input Lag problems: new tests of 2405fpw and 244t

disabling vsynch actually did quite a lot to solve the problem on my rig, can't beleive I missed that. In counterstrike now at least, the lag is no longer a showstopper. In quake3 the problem is more easily apparently but not crippling as it was with vsynch enabled. I agree that this isn't the...

    Samsung 244T - finally!

I talked to a samsung tech higher-up and he said that the input lag was just normal for these monitors. He seemed to know just what i was talking about too. I explained how the mouse movement lagged behind my actual input as compared to my CRT. So if you play games at all, I would avoid a...

    Samsung 244T - finally!

Thanks for that reply. I definately could not live with anything approaching a noticeable delay in monitor output. Pretty discouraging that this is the current state of LCD after so long.

    Samsung 244T - finally!

a guy in this thread: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=31&threadid=1792626&frmKeyword=&STARTPAGE=2&FTVAR_FORUMVIEWTMP=Linear He seems to have fixed his input lag on a 244t by changing some options. his video card is ati and not nvidia, but are there any options in the...

LCD input Lag problems: new tests of 2405fpw and 244t

Could the lag be a driver issue? this guy cleared up his lag problem on a 244t it sounds like. http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=31&threadid=1792626&frmKeyword=&STARTPAGE=2&FTVAR_FORUMVIEWTMP=Linear

P4 style 12V atx connector necessary?

got the mobo, and it actually doesnt require the power to that connector. works great :) actually squeezed 20 more fps in quake3 out of my athlon 1400/geforce2 than the old abit kt7a. didn't know they had it in them to get any faster. guess the ddr ram helps.

P4 style 12V atx connector necessary?

pretty sure it doesnt come with the adapter. i guess i'll swap supplies with my brother until i get a new one. his board doesnt use the extra plug.
