wouldnt it bet better to get 4 x 640GB WD6400AAKS which achieve around 400MB/s STR in RAID-0 on a standard Intel ICH10 ? I mean the cost of 4 x 300GB raptors + controller is like .... 16 !!!! of the above drives ... thats bit crazy ... even for enthusiast ... I reckon the drive is way too...

got the latest BIOS on the card and latest drivers from DELL (for Vista 64bit) SATA RAID, IDE, 1394, COM, FLOPPY all disabled in BIOS I think it might have to do with my eVGA 680i BIOS version ... apparently anything above P28 has issues with some RAID cards ... will try to flash tonight...

I've bought the Ultra PLUS model of the kit today ... will be installing soon ... I also bought two 120mm Nexus real silent fans to replace the original ones. They cost, but its worth it ... Looking forward to my new temps ... hopefully I can fit it all in my P180 with the RAD on the...
