Hey, so I'm a co-developer on a project called Phase. We're hoping to help make gaming in groups easy again, particularly with games like Destiny that don't have the right tools built-in.
We just launched an alpha version of our android app this week (yes it's free), so all feedback is very...
Hey guys, I'd like to pick your brains a bit on a problem that I'm hoping to solve a little more elegantly in my app than the current solution.
At the moment, users must select names from their contact list to send out a notification. Typically this notification will be sent out to a small...
No, that's the thing, nothing else flickers or shuts off, not even for a second. The "power" i was referring to was the power of the computer. It's like I flicked the switch on the back of the PSU for a second.
Hey guys, quick question.
I've been running the rig in my sig for a few years now and it's mostly been great, but recently there have been a few hiccups.
Occasionally the power will just "blink" and instantly shut off the computer (it immediately restarts). I don't believe it is an issue...
I have a 670 and 1440p. I max out every game I play.
I don't play BF4 though, so no advice there. I'm also not bothered by sub 60 fps, as long as it doesn't stutter (generally starts happening sub 30).
Ok, so I'm trying to set up an SVN server on my NAS (DS212j) under Synology's diskstation software.
I installed the SVN package from the package manager, seemed to install just fine.
I run the package, it tells me to create a repository, which I do.
And then.... nothing. I have no idea how to...
Have you bought a screen that isn't the original resolution of the laptop that it will be used on? I'm not sure how to navigate that site to find that information, as it seems to like to narrow me down to the original screen of X model.
Sorry for the bump, but I'm looking to use this site and was wondering if anyone has some feedback.
Basically I'm about to buy the Clevo w230st, but I'm not really comfortable with 1080p resolution on a 13.3" form factor. I'm probably going to swap it out for a lower resolution (like 1600x900)...
Do you people really do large photo manipulation and other work on a 11-17" laptop screen? Often??
I don't do photo stuff at work, but I do code, so more resolution = more lines = better in general. but I would never do serious coding work on a laptop if I could avoid it, regardless of the...
You're *way* too plugged into a small scene if you think PoE and Titan Quest were "popular."
The "I want to go back to 2000 and play more D2" crowd likes them, sure, but on a large scale (i.e. the gaming population in general) they are not very popular games at all.
Besides, D3 really doesn't...
I don't understand why everyone thinks the AH (not even just the RMAH) is the antichrist.
Whether the AH is in the game or not, you're "rewarded" for the time that you put into the game. The problem with D3 is that the game just sucks and is boring.
Diablo 3's items, stats, skills, maps...
The matchmaking is very good. Blizzard has been perfecting their MM algorithms for over a decade now (in both their Starcraft and Warcraft universes) and 99.9% of the population will play most of their games against relatively equal skill players.
Give it 10-20 games to sort out your rating...
