I don't think 8800 GTX was a bad thing, i think that Nvidia had a good chance of getting some real money from it. Even if everyone keep saying that the real money comes from the mid-end cards.
Think about it, you are the only card vendor with something that does DX10, and even do DX9 in a huge...
Well I was waiting a LONG time for this card and as it never came out, I ordered Bluegears B-inspire. Weel now it got out :(, but since I can only rder from sites likw newegg and zipzoomfly, and it is not there yet, it's no use for me.
Some difference beetween those cards that noone sayd that...
Hi guysm I'm sorry, I didn't looked at this thread since the problem was solved fro me, but here are the answer someone was asking earlyer.
To disable vanderpool technology, simply go to CPU parameters and where it shows CPU disable bit, vanderpool technology and stuff, way below under the...
Didn't undertood what you sayd about spec speed, I sayd it could run OVER, WAY OVER the stock speeds, they are DDR2 667 and are now at 800 with 4-4-4-12-4 timings.
Well to the point again, i HAVE FOUND THE PROBLEM.
And i'm sorry for all of those messages but the problem was simple...
I didn't even considered the idea :p
If the question was for me, no... i didn't, used lock on PCIe, my mobo doesn't show this option, it only have the PCI lock, for 33.......
I used locked and unlocked, and didn't worked.
Try to lower your multiplier and see if you can raise your FSB.
If you can, it will not be the same problem as mine, it would be that your proc can't go any higher (which I doubt). If you still can't go any higher in FSB, so you have the same problem.
I don't think this is something too...
Which BIOS are u using?
Have you used another one with the same problems?
Have you tryed to use other multiplier? A lower one? To see if the problem is on the proc?
Hum, this would still need to be the memory fault right?
I have loosened the timings more than once, even trying to use 6-6-6-15.....
The memory in the default use of the proc, can run 800@ 4-4-4-12 fine.
As I sayd I don't think it is the memory the problem, even with 1:1 causing the memory...
I don't think it is the NB heatsink, it's not even warm to the touch.
About the mem, even running it to 1:1 it can't do 667 (333fsb) so it's not the memory I'm confident about it. the default voltage is 1.8.
Stil thinking about what it is....
FOUND THE PROBLEM, SIMPLE ONE, read in the second page ;)
Thanks
Hi, i have bought a new combo, a value one for USA guy budget but a great one for a brazilian budget. ;)
I'm having some problems with the MOBO, i wanna know if someone can help me.
First let me tell you my hardware.

Several people have found the same overclockability with the vanilla version with the new BIOS 0309 installed.
They are reaching 500+ FSB.
There are several post in other forums talking about it.
One thing I didn't see, even if the article in anandtech talks about it, was rainsing the...
Well, i have both types of monitors, LCD and CRT.

Why don't you try something like the BlueGears cards?
http://www.bluegears.com/
They have Dolby Digital Live and are really good in games too, delivering the Positional audio in the DD Live.
I would wait (like I am doing) for the DTS version though, they are to be out in jan to march...
As far as I could see, it is now in the SUPPORTED video cards for the new PureVideo. With exactly the same things as the 6600 does SD/HD video decoding and all, even for the AGP part.
http://www.nvidia.com/page/purevideo_support.html
So if purevideo is NOW SUPPORTED I think that 6800GT...
