    Unmasking 8800 GTS

Then why it does work on mine?? After multiple reboots, Rivatuner (latest) still shows 128sp Gigabyte 8800GTX EDIT: or maybe 128sp is default on GTX? lol

    Acer 26" AL2623W / AL2616W

2006.12.18 - Problem fixed with new firmware anyway, anybody knows if it's glossy or not and did anyone record a movie while playing Battlefield or Counter Strike or something like that? Overall reviews are positive, input lag is said to be 20ms max. No blurring or tearing at all. So they say.

Just bought Acers new 24" Display, Acer AL2423Wdr, Anyone know about this model?

Any chances someone could record a movie (possibly at 60fps, many cameras offer video recording these days, mine does 320x240@60 and 640x480@30fps). I'd like to see some fast FPS in action. I game on CRT (19" Brilliance and 24" Sony Widescreen) and also on Acer Notebook (TN panel) and on that...

New Screen Out Acer AL2251w !!!

    1. Is it glossy or confirmed not glossy? I want glossy as I have glossy CrystalBrite widescreen panel in my Acer 3024WLMi notebook - it's beautiful. 2. How is the ghosting and most importantly: input lag? I'm amazed with my notebook's panel as I just played Battlefield on it and tried turning...

LCD input Lag problems: new tests of 2405fpw and 244t

after reading all this and finding my fvorite 24" LCD which is Acer 2423W, 8bit 6ms P-MVA, average 30ms of input lag, I'm wondering If I should get it or if I should get 24" CRT Trinitron for $200. I'm on 19" Brilliance CRT, mainly Battlefield online gaming. Right now I'm 75% decided to get...

Apple Cinema 23" - Confirmed no input lag?

Found this :( If you're a fan of RTS or World of Warcraft , the Apple Cinema might do for you. But if you like a steady diet of blowing bad guys away, you'd better look elsewhere. This screen was playable, but remanence was very perceptible...

Apple Cinema 23" - Confirmed no input lag?

I've also heard Apple Cinema is famous of having no lag. It has slower panel as far as I remember 16ms, is that OK for fast FPS games and movies? It probably doesn't have overdrive which means no input lag due to additional processing. Lastly, is the Apple Cinema 23 comparable to Acer 2423...

    Acer AL2423W 24" Review, Pics.

Can someone calculate or measure min/max/average lag for Acer AL2423W, just like they did it here for other LCDs? http://www.behardware.com/articles/632/page1.html Maybe it will lag just one frame, not two as Dell? Acer is supposed to be slightly faster.

    24" LCD's: "Pandora's Box"

If you think your LCD is fast and you think it has no lag, you are wrong. Input lag means you are few frames behind and you can't know this until you play online FPS like Counter Strike. The LAG is there and yes, it can be 45ms on 6ms display, read more...

I went with Patriot 800 Low Latency, ddr667 equals to 333NHz so might not overclock that much

E6300 Overclocks - Please Share Yours

Mine also went up to 3.2GHz no problem, stock voltage set manually (NOT set to normal - it auto-overvolts). When I set it to 3.3GHz, I got Prime errors, had to raise voltage to get rid of errors, so decided to stay at 3.2 as it seems easy for mobo and CPU, default voltage, no stress. 20h Prime...

E6300 Overclocks - Please Share Yours

Despite the fact my E6300 ís not flat hence high temps, I pushed mine further to 3.2GHz, default voltage, MCH and FSB at +0.1v (Had that at +0.2 while at 3GHz, will try if works with no overvolt). Other thing I will do to lower temps is to try Akasa Thermal Pads. So far dual prime stable for 8...

E6300 Overclocks - Please Share Yours

Nope, I changed voltage from NORMAL to 1.325 (didn't touch anything else) and temps are WAY lower, water is now back to 36deg even after 20 hours of prime, so DS3 does overvolt.

E6300 Overclocks - Please Share Yours

My stupid E6300 was idling at about 60 deg, full load reported to be between 75-90 deg depending on temp read utility. 3 days it didnt blowup, I was alerted by water getting hot up to 51deg Then I noticed I overclocked to 400fsb while leaving cpu voltage at NORMAL - big mistake, it probably got...
