You know, Nvidia has a driver development team too. Everyone seems to assume that while AMD works on 2900 drivers, Nvidia employees will be drinking beer and watching Family Guy.
BTW, AMD said:
So far both statements, "Delay is to lauch everything at one" and "We'll use the time to make our "industy-best drivers" even better" seem rather suspect.
I am sure DriverHeaven, an ATI-friendly site in the past, is also in cahoots with Nvidia:

Back with old BIOS (p21), my system would sometimes go 4 days without a single RAID error, and then throw up 15 of them in a hour. Chances are, even if you stay with P21 they will creap up sooner or later - with timing problems, you never know when you'll get just the right signal combination to...
I have very bad SATA issues with P23B1 - I have a RAID-0 and whenever I try running diskcheck in Windows ( the most basic one, wihout file system of bad sector fixes) the system is very likely to freeze/crash - harddrive activity just stops in the middle of the scan. Upon reboot, there is...
You are in bit trouble Mr...
Amendment 11: No person or persons shall purchase an 8th generation Geforce card prior to the official launch day at any retail outlets. Such transgressions shall henceforth be punished by The Catapult.
The foresight of the Founding Fathers still amazes me.
What's worse: people who complain about INQ or people who complain about the afformentioned?
BTW, I think the article that best illustrated what they are all about is not the one the list, but the one where Charly sited (what turned out to be accurte specs) off VR zone and Faud came along and...
I find the story of AF implementations quite ironic, to be honest. Nvidia had great AF with NV2x/3x, then went backwards with NV40 and now finally have good AF implementation again.
And everyone is going: "Oh man, finally got AF that's... well... better then we used to have 3 years ago, score!!!"
Could some of the kind G80-blessed guys do me a huge favor?
Namely, could you run the Fillrate tester and Archmarkand post both the No AA/No AF and 4xAA results for each?
I must have missed the huge wave of excitment over the faster-clocked G7x that is 7900. I do know that excitment for NV40 didn't exactly end when R420 came out and the excitment for G70 didn't end when R520 finally showed up...
One last thing (if you are still around)
Can you use the AF tester:

...and take a screenshot of HQ 16AF?
Again, thanks so much for all work ;)...
