    Review of experiences at FrozenCPU.com

Thanks MTBush, I've also added my review to resellerratings. I also filed a complaint to the BBB of NY and was shocked that FCPU still has an A rating there, dispite all of the poor customer experiences. Jason

    Review of experiences at FrozenCPU.com

All these post tell me that I really didn't do my due diligence on researching FCPU before purchasing from them. I won't make that mistake again. I have a post like this one on OCN. Some of the comments in favor of FCPU over there makes me wonder how many of the posters work for FCPU. They...

    Review of experiences at FrozenCPU.com

I guarantee if you take any company, good or bad, they'll have more pleased customers than disgruntled ones. Think about that a second. Now, does posting that you've had no bad experiences discount someone else's or make it okay for the company to treat others poorly? Think about it. Jason

    Review of experiences at FrozenCPU.com

I would have rather of had my missing radiator than a branded stress squeeze ball in my box. Put my build off schedule and since I'm leaving town in 3 days, I can't afford any more mishaps. If I break, find something leaks or discover something I forgot to order, my build will not get done...

    Review of experiences at FrozenCPU.com

My prior experiences have also been good. I have helped friends order from them numerous times on their builds. I've never really had the need for extreme cooling until now for my own builds. Customer service is tested when there's a problem. Not when things are going well. There's 50 or...

    Review of experiences at FrozenCPU.com

Thanks for the heads-up, Magoo. I like Sidewinders website layout, inventory selection and pricing. I'll be considering them for my future watercooling needs. For me personally, I believe the only thing that seperates the watercooling companies is service. I require good service from...

    Review of experiences at FrozenCPU.com

I ordered 7 items from FrozenCPU.com and only recieved 6 of them. I called to tell them about the problem and spoke with Jeff. He told me that the missing item will be shipped to me the same way that the previous parts had been shipped, which was FedEx 1-5 business days. I explained to him...

    intel x25-m g2 80gb - alignment and 100mb partition question

I'm using Norton Ghost 12.0 with no live update or anything else running that isn't necessary. Win7 reports it as having incompatibilities, like it does with most on the market now. It's because many imaging solutions will not read the 100MB partition where the boot partition is stored. When...

    intel x25-m g2 80gb - alignment and 100mb partition question

I just walked my brother through this procedure today on his new Win7 install... If you want to install Win7 without the 100MB partition, it's fairly easy to do. On a raw, unpartitioned drive, Win7 will automatically create and align this partition. It annoys me because I like my imaging...

    intel x25-m g2 80gb - alignment and 100mb partition question

I fixed the broken link to the VBscript alignment checking tool and also attached the file to the post itself. Just another option to checking your alignment. Jason

    Best non SSD mechanical drive?

I'm a fan of the WD Caviar Black series. Also, I don't think a mechanical SSD exist, so it should be easy to find a non mechanical SSD. ;-) Just jokin with ya Jason

Does IDE to SATA converters/adaptors works w/ SATA SSD?

I've seen this discussion a number of times on the OCZ forums, nothing recently though. There is logic on those converters. So far, I've not found one that can support a SSD for much time. I'm not sure if they're poor quality or if the SSD's massive I/Os are burning them out. A SATA...

Stripe size for SSD RAID 0

With SSD arrays, bigger is better. Even for OS volumes. If you are using the onboard controller, you'll most likely be limited to 128k stripe so use that. If you're using a RAID card, using 1024k shows the best performance. Jason

Do I have the world's slowest SSD?

Make sure you're using the Intel ICH10R ports and not the Jmicron SATA ports. Those Jmicron ports (including the eSATA one) are severely bottlenecked. Jason
