Valve Quietly Releases Original Half-Life on Steam for Mac

http://store.steampowered.com/stats/ 61k people played it... today. That beats the latest Call of Duty, FYI. It almost ties MW3 and Black Ops 2 put together.

Mozilla Reinstates Firefox 64-Bit Nightly Builds

I also use it. It's the only Firefox I have installed on my two Archlinux systems.

Valve Officially Launches TV-Friendly Steam Big Picture Mode

The command "steam -bigpicture" works in Linux to boot straight to it, as seen in multiple youtube vids showing PCs booting straight into BigPicture with no desktop. Should be possible with the equivalent command in Windows as well.

Google Now Selling Unlocked Galaxy Nexus

I agree, the price is pretty crazy. I spent nearly $700 for mine less than 6 months ago, and that's cheaper than almost every other high end phone on the market.

    Quote of the Day

It could be argued that they're showing your content, not theirs. I believe they tried to get the same prioritized search through Facebook also, but FB wouldn't give them access to the accounts, so it's not just showing their G+ content. Also, if you search for someone with a + account that...

Android Phones Log Everything You Do

I have a Nexus One and am soon upgrading to a Galaxy Nexus. Both are Android phones, neither have Carrier IQ so I'm not sure I agree with this

T-Mobile Drops Throttling for Overage Fees

At last it's only for the 200MB plan. If this effected the 2gb one that would be enough for me not to use them. 200MB is too small for anyone actually using data anyway.

Time Lapse Video of the Day

It didn't settle for hours, you couldn't see more than 25 feet or so in front of you for quite a while.

Enermax MaxRevo 1350W Power Supply Review @ [H]

Hmm, damn good price on that. I can get a Antec HCP-1200 for about $245, I'll probably just do that instead. I really don't need more than ~1000W since I'm 'only' running 2 580's and an i7 950 but only $50 more and it's probably quieter. Hard choice.

Sony CEO: A Week Wasn't Fast Enough?

Not a god damned thing, except all the pws were hashed and the cc data encrypted. Or are those not "things" in your book?

Sony CEO: A Week Wasn't Fast Enough?

Wow, ballsy. I like that guy. I think they handled it pretty well myself, but I never expect 100% security so I guess my life wasn't ruined like some people's.

Sony Now Says 10M Credit Cards Accounts Compromised

So, where does it say that 10m accounts were compromised? I see that on [H]'s headline but nowhere else. Is Steve just making stuff up or were they confirmed stolen now?

Valve Looks to Steam Power Your TV

I don't see where you guys are getting an idea of a dedicated hardware box like onlive from...sounds like just a new gamepad ui.

AMD Continues its Commitment to OpenGL Community

After getting rid of my 4879 x2 and then my 5870 I've learned to buy nvidia if you don't want driver issues. My old 9700 pro had good drivers... No more ati for me though.
