I'm able to buy an LG L2300B at roughly half price, so it made me curious. I found out it uses the same panel as the HP L2335, but how viable is this screen compared to the 23 and 24-inchers of today? I haven't been able to find any reviews of it anywhere. Main uses would be movies / gaming.
Just to add my experiences, exactly the same issues started coming up with my card (X1800XT 256 MB) after I installed and started playing NWN 2. I'm also using an Opteron 165 @2.6.
My card has been overclocked, but going back to stock speeds on the X1800XT does not seem to help. After...
Be happy you guys don't live in Sweden. I got my 2007WFP last week, and it had horrible backlight bleeding from the left side. To get it replaced, they demand I send in PHOTOS of the problem, or they won't do anything.
Guess custome service isn't the same across the world.
S-IPS, got mine today. Great screen, but has a bit of backlight bleeding in the left bottom corner. Sucks when you watch 4:3 movies. Gonna ask for a new one tomorrow.
This is being shipped to Sweden. Guessing they were out of stock, as I ordered it at the end of a 25% off-spree. The 2407 is 25% off now, but the price is still way too high compared to the prices in the US ($1000 in US funds)..
I'm getting the one I'm ordered delivered on Oct 11. Was delayed from Oct 9 and says "In production" at the moment. If it's a PVA I'll let you know, and then return it and get a 22" Samsung or similar.
These are the specs from the swedish site. A bit different, wouldn't you say?

Ordered one, don't know when it'll get here though, no release date.
As the topic says. I*m gaming a lot, using a 2.1 speaker setup (Logitech speakers). Would I notice any difference in the sound going from my old (5+ years) SB Live! Value to either an Audigy 2 ZS or an X-Fi Extrememusic?
Given I had the choice of either, which would give me the most value...
For reference, my P4P800 Intel motherboard fried cards on me until I replaced it a couple of months ago. The only card that survived for an extended perdiod of time was a GF4 Ti4200.
Cards that have died the last 18 months:
Sparkle 6800GT x 2
Leadtek 6800GT
Sapphire X850XT
The first...
Thanks for the advice! I'll look into getting one of those PCI exhaust fans. I'm in Sweden though, so supply is probably limited.
EDIT: This one is available here.. Anything I should try?

I'm stuck with a Sonata II case, which means there are limited options for extra fans. The single 120 mm fan exhaust. I don't use the heatduct, as it doesn't seem to do my temps any good. Should I plug up the intake holes where the duct is supposed to go to help airflow? A bit OT, I know :)...
So I'm -really- happy with my X1800XT, besides the noise the stock cooler makes. My airflow is a bit limited (Sonata II, 1x120 mm fan exhaust), but I'm still looking for a replacement cooler for my card.
Do you have any suggestions? My card now idles at around 55 deg C. Mainly trying to get...
My rig died last night, so I'm looking into buying a new one with an Opteron 165. Now, my question is as follows:
I'm going to overclock the Opteron 165 to around 2.4 GHz on air, and I'm curious if I need to worry about what kind of memory to buy to achieve this.
Currently considering two...
