I got this thing at Costco like 3 years ago. Sadly I need to get a new chair for the same reason. I'd love to get another one of these. It was really comfortable when it was in it's prime, and pretty cheap. Except they don't seem to make it anymore. :(
Thanks Pheonix. Yea I think I'm just...
Latest. I will try and get a daytime shot as soon as I clean my room.
The green you see are those color changing lights from Ikea.
While I am here. How awkward is it to have two different sized monitors as dual monitors. With that nice 23" Samsung on sale for around 160 I want...
Well this has been a problem for a while now and I have tried several different codecs and such from different sources and have had little to no luck getting decent hd playback.
Whenever playing any HD video I get a very noticeable stutter in the video. The audio continues fine but just the...
Didn't think about setting filters for SPDIF since I never had to do that in the past.
That worked and now I'm getting sound to all 6 channels. Thanks guys.
Just updated the BIOS to the latest and still seem to have the issue. I'm guessing its just a driver/software issue.
When in the properties for the optical setup, I am able to run the DTS Audio test under the Supported Formats tab and properly get signal from all 6 speakers.
I have seem to run in to the biggest problem with Windows 7. Everything has been great other then this huge problem.
I can't seem to get 5.1 sound enabled over optical out on my ASUS M3A78-EM motherboard. I have tried the recommended drivers from Windows, I also tried the Realtek HD audio...

Haven't had a chance to try it out since I haven't finished setting up my capture card yet, but it looks promising.
Well last night in a show of wonderful fireworks and smoke, not really, my motherboard went out. I was running the Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H.
I have just upgraded to an ATI HD4850 so I don't exactly need the onboard video anymore. I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 AM2 processor. My only...
This issue has perplexed me for quite some time. Whenever viewing full screen video such as in windows media player when watching 720p movies or even hulu, when i go to exit full screen windows crashes. At first I thought it was the memory so I did a memTest and all seems to be fine. I have...
Awesome, thanks! I thought it was a grounding issue, but I was thinking how could a company like Antec screw something like that up. Thought it had something to do with the VFD.
Silly me.
Well I have my htpc setup in the Antec Fusion Black and have had this problem where I thought that the computer randomly shut down. But after installing a multi-disk piece of software and this happening several times in a row I finally realized what it was, shocks from my hand were causing...
Hey all,
I've been trying to find a way to do this for a long long time but have failed miserably. I have the gigabyte GMA78GM-S2H and I mainly use it for my home theater so it is output directly to my audio receiver using optical. But I also have a seperate monitor setup at my desk. On my...
Okay so I have been messing around with Boxee lately and it is amazing. The integration with internet sites like hulu is amazing. The social aspect is fun, and the interface is quite stunning. Highly recommended.
I use ubuntu on my laptop so I have been mainly testing it out on there. Now...
I'm currently at work and wasting time away by looking for information on using CRT HDTV's for HTPC's. I have found some mixed information on how well these perform.
I currently have a Samsung Slimfit 30" CRT HDTV. It's a great little set with some nice quality and was inexpensive when I...
Would the GIGABYTE GA-MA78GM-S2H be able to handle dual monitors whereas one is connected via HDMI at 1080p and one is connected via DVI and running at 1440x900?
This would be a great solution to my problems and save me so much money.
One of my friends used to game from his couch. He used to rest the keyboard on a pillow on his lap and then use this hard square pillow for the mouse. I laughed at him the first time I witnessed it but it was actually really comfortable.
Considering the height of the pillow on my lap it...
Thanks for the link, the issues seem pretty bad. I just hope they find a reliable fix for these problems soon. I was gonna order one at the end of the week when I get payed, but after reading this I have a feeling I am going to hold off for a while.
The HD Homerun isn't able to receive premium channels though. So as far as I know, the only other solution to this is a CableCard enabled computer. Am I right?

So has anyone had any experience with this solution in question in order to get HDTV on your HTPC.
I'm looking to build an HTPC into a coffee table I am working on and this would be great so I can actually record HD video to my...

If you go online just find the corporate address. Thats where I usually send them and if anything, they will usually forward it to costumer service for you or the correct people.
This isn't an exact offer but if anyone has read Idiot Letters by Paul Rosa you will know how this works. :D
I tried it once and in his book he writes really stupid letters to companys and at the end of each of them he requests a t-shirt. Well I was bored one day so I wrote a letter to...
