I really only need it to load the OS and I guess occasionally connect locally.. Want something cool, quiet, and cheap! Goin into an Asus P5WDH mobo, so PCIe or I guess plain ol PCI (can modern mobos still boot to a PCI vid card if PCIe is present?).
No time to order, will be stopping by...
I'm basically in the same boat. P6T or UD4P.
UD4P looks like a great deal at $240 after rebate:

What, nobody using this moby anymore? :) I just read somewhere today of some guy having issues putting the PC to sleep while overclocked using a P6T deluxe.
Thx
I'm planning an i7 build and this mobo is obviously on my short list (Gigabyte UD4P is the other -- for now :)). They really seem to love the GBs over at XS.
What's the story with the eSATA thing? Still an issue? It was never completely reliable for me on my P5WDH.
Also, what about S3...
Mitch, is that the PC-A59? I was thinking about that case (see post #8). Looks pretty slick.. How's that HDD cage? Read a couple reviews that said it ran very hot.
Got any more pics of that rig?
Thanks
Man that is slick..... Exactly what I want but alas pretty expensive (around $250) and difficult to find anywhere to purchase it from.
Here's some guy's build with this case:

Think I may go with the Lian Li PC-A59

Not SFF by far, but one of the smallest ATX cases around with 3 easily accessible hdd rails inside and available 5.25 bays for future expandability (7 or 8...
Adidas, have any pics of your setup?
Pclark, I knew of the Qmicra -- didn't know it could fit 4 drives internally tho! Awesome, but I gotta really think it over for that price..
Looking to build a WHS box in as small a case as possible.. Will want the option to use at least 4 hdds and an optical... I have an ATX mobo and an e6600 that I can reuse, but if there's a better case, I have no problems buying a new mini/micro atx board..
Leaning toward the P180 mini as I...
Looks like the 6.12s are official..

Hope they have proper support for the X1950XT... Still stuck on the 6.10s and the ati2mtag event log error :(
They're both decent..... ZZF takes a couple days longer, but it's all free shipping and their prices are consistently the lowest.
If you want stuff quicker, go with Newegg.
Yeah lol -- ZZF definitely has much better HDD packing.
Just bought about 1k work of stuff from ZZF and it was here in under a week with their free shipping. No probs.
Another vote for the x1950xt. Just ordered myself one today.
And another thumbs down to the jackasses recommending the 8800 when he clearly said he had $280 to spend.
lol..... Please let us know how it handles!
Thanks everyone for the advice. Will wait a couple more days and hopefully there will be some 1950XT reviews around (or at least a thumbs up from Foolfighter! :) ) -- if it's not like a hairdryer, I'll probably pick one of those up.
