the thing is that the swirl gesture you're talking about sounds like a single input gesture. It's not like pinch and zoom such as impulse was stating. I'm really curious how many companies have paid licenses or are allowed to implement multi-touch funcitonality.

good to hear that the macbook has imroved on the multi-touch functionality. I'm not looking for something too powerful and I always felt that macs were overpriced for their performance, even with student discounts or refurbs. I'll most likely got another eee pc if there are no other options.

1000he user here, i use a two finger tap for tabs and win7 instances. It's awesome because it's even easier than using a mouse click or shift click.

if palm is smart, it should come out of the blocks under $200 subsidized if they don't want to die to the iPhone.

I'm just going to say this... I could tell what was open, what had instances minimized, how many instances of each program were open, and that it's ludicrous having FF and IE both in your task bar... all within half a second. What is wrong with you? I can even tell that I have skype and chrome...

I can play warcraft III frozen throne on my 1000he at 800x600. I had to turn everything down to get the frame rate decent when there are a ton of units on the ground though. Just throwin that out there for other games you can play on a netbook.

Just finished setting up themes and stuff on my 1000HE. Running rocketdock eternal theme and 3D cartoon icons pack plus a couple icons from another pack too. Windows theme is Nion 2 with iconized taskbar.
