Some people (enthusiast) are buying expensive motherboards because the looks, quality and overclockable are reasonable for buying these specific kind of expensive motherboards they actually need and useful for them but some people (newbs) just buy it because of reviews on the Internet or...
I'm still not sure which better P965 motherboard to pick:
These four P965 motherboards:
Abit AB9 Pro
Asus P5B Deluxe
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4
Intel DP965LT
That is probably AM2 processor if romeo referring.. I'm sure romeoagogo is ordering AM2 X2 4600+ not Socket 939 X2 4600+.. Blame AMD.. confusing with the same model but different socket. I think this should be called 4700+ instead 4600+
Romeo, I'm hoping you ordering the right processor.. I'm...
Absoultely, Dual core processors will work well with that motherboard you have and I think that motherboard is dual core ready.. I'm not sure.. I don't own that motherboard but I've researched this motherboard before..
It's depend what you want for case.. You really can't ask us which to choose because the case is your perference..
I don't know much about Aurora but I heard the review of Aurora that it is full tower case with blue light on all the time if its on, give a lot space, and nice cooling provided...
I guess you're from UK so I found Operton 165 cost 222.28 pounds.

I'm not sure if this already posted but you might want to know about DFI AM2 mATX motherboard..

You can overclock X800GTO to X850XTPE and also, you can unlock to 16 pipelines from 12 pipeline.

Seem like pretty awesome motherboard but how much its cost? I don't understand about "12 Phase Power" so can anyone explains what it is and how it work?
I presume that 975x "BadAxe" cost about 200-300 bucks for its features and crossfire (2 PCI-E X16) that cost more than single PCI-E X16. Out of curiousity, how much does P965 motherboards cost, maybe 100-250 dollars range? I don't know for sure but correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm really looking forward to purchase conroe rig in late Aug and I still need more information about the chipsets since I don't follow up very much about Intel in the past. I wouldn't be using SLI/CF.. Stablity, overclocking and reasonable priced motherboard is priority to me.. I will spend...

This laptop is nice but high budget so can you afford that laptop?
Yeah I totally agree.. I think they should have at least 10 or more crossfire motherboards by now. Crossfire was first introduced in October 2005.. I dont know if its true that ATI R580 chipset will release soon.. It's a rumor that I've been hearing for months all over on the internet..
There's 4 AMD crossfire motherboards and 1 Intel crossfire motherboard.. I don't know if they are good as ASUS A8N32-SLI or DFI Expert. I think DFI Lanparty UT RDX200 Crossfire is at least better crossfire out there.
Corsair RAM won't work on DFI motherboards so I'll suggest you to get 2 of mushkin eXtreme Performance 2GB DDR500 (PC4000). I guess Windows XP will only read 3gb if you put 4gb on motherboard but I'm not sure why.. I think someone else would have better explanation..
I would go with ATI x800gto because you can tweak pipelines from 12 to 16 and overclock to x800xtpe range. 16 pipelines is highest pipelines in AGP 4x/8x interface.
