I have a few choice items up for grabs...
First on the block is a brand new, in-box Asus Striker Extreme, this is a brand new board with all manuals/cds/cables/etc.
Price: $240
Next, slightly used set of Corsair Dominator DDR2 PC2 8500 RAM. 2x1GB, cooling fan included. Model...
They are still available until the end of the day. I will take 450 for the pair + 5$ flat shipping. Otherwise you can bid on them on ebay.
*edit* This is a SAVINGS of $10. I listed them originally for 230$ each. for the pair that would have been 460$ + shipping.
They've lightened up a bit, it used to be you had to buy from very specific vendors, now its any vendor. Its not really an issue anyway. You can make as big a deal out of it as you like...
Really? ... Really? Gimme a break. What kind of 'trouble'? deny the warranty, *MAYBE*? Get over yourself, seriously. The Secret Service isn't going to be breaking anyone's door down, you tool.
What, all of a sudden when the card hits the magic 30 day 'barrier' all bets are off about the...

I have two eVGA 8800 GT 512MB Superclocked cards for sale, both flashed with the SSC BIOS, and running solid @ 700/2000 Mhz. These were purchased and used for a magazine writeup and cannot be returned...
The main reason I am waiting on the nforce boards for my current build is PCIE 2.0 and SLI support. I would've already jumped on that Asus Maximus if nvidia wasn't charging so much for licensing SLI...
Yeah, that wasn't the point. How about BioShock...
lots of examples on both of my links, you should click through. too bad SLI doesn't work yet with Crysis.
What happens in fear is not present in _any_ other game, if you want to continue your little game of semantics.
I was able to finally shut the top by shaving most of the plastic support pieces down on the underside. I am using 120x25mm Yate Loons.
I just used a dremel and cut them down, its still a squeeze but it closes. :)
Yeah, a low res bench like that is cpu bound and doesnt really hammer the GPU for what I'm looking for. (most) Benchmarks at <1600 are pretty useless, to me anyway. What I want to see is whether it will be worthwhile to get dual GTXs, or get dual GTs/(new)GTS' and wait for a top end refresh...
I looked at the TC, Swiftech and the Black Ice GTX, there was only about a 7mm delta between them, which isn't enough. I guess the point to my post was I have 25mm fans up there and the rear one still hits the top shroud. Most rad's aren't thinner than 25mm.
I think I just answered this same post in another thread, but this one is more crowded so here goes.
A radiator will NOT fit on top. No Fucking Way. Fans will, but the radiator will not, I looked at _every_ dual 120mm rad and none of them are thin enough. Nor would you want to. You need to...
bump bump.
No, you can't :(
I have two 25mmx120s at the top pushing into a PA120.2 that is attached to the underside and the cover does not close. Its about 5 mm too tall. I am in the middle of my build at the moment planning on finishing up by the end of the month, and I plan on taking a...
All the new X38 boards will do crossfire but not SLI. I talked to a guy from Asus earlier this week and he said don't even bother trying to get SLI working on a non-nvidia motherboard.
Nvidia wants a kickback for doing the driver/SLI development. They don't want to do it for free for non-NV...
finally a decent thread... some of these others make me want to start hitting things. So, thanks.
I've been struggling with this for a few weeks now. what to do, when to order, etc... I think i've made my mind up, i'm going to WC a GTX if nvidia doesn't release their monster card at the end...
Correct, but it does tell you RELATIVE speed which can be more tangible than a set of specs (without benchmarks). Putting those numbers compared with what the current cards are currently operating at tells you what level newer cards could potentially perform at versus their older siblings.
As...
