    Internal USB3 Header Cables??

I found on OC forums that CM is giving free USB 3.0 internal adapters to those who have a HAF X (with USB 3.0 external only). It looks like owners will have to fill out a parts request, provide proof of ownership and serial number and CM will ship the parts. I've seen the latest HAF X in...

What's the most economical decent ATX case for a long video cards?

How about the HAF 912. It can support 200mm fans in the future and comes with 120mm fans. This way your buddy has a case he can increase cooling on his own. It also is a tiny brother of the HAF series. They are about $55 usd most places. HAF 912

Lancool Dragon-Lord PC-K62 or Coolermaster CM-690 II Advanced??

My vote would be with the CM 690 II Advanced. It has better water cooling support. It can also support removable hard drive bays. The cable management is easier than the PC-k62 because the Lancool has no hole to route the EPS 12V 8 pin!

Negative case reviews are so hard to find

I also agree that review sites are more generous. Review sites don't do any head to head reviews anymore. When I see a Storm Sniper, a Corsair 600T and a Thermaltake Element G together in Fry's or Microcenter, I want to know which is better for the project I need to accomplish. These cases...

Antec Six Hundred V2 Gaming Case

You should research more because I owned a Scout and it had this filter under the PSU properly. If I wanted to I could mount my power supply in the case upside down as well since the Scout and many other cases from other companies have both sets of holes. The power supply filter is right there...

Antec Six Hundred V2 Gaming Case

Those cases above with exception of P183 are +4 years old. If you count the original Antec 900, Antec 300 and P180 its almost like Antec's design stood still for the last 4 years. They still use the same bodies as 4 years ago and terrible hard drive placement that forces the hard drive cables...

    Best $60 case: HAF 912?

The HAF 912 also has a removable/rotatable hard drive cage. This means you have room for large graphics cards, or can rotate them like Antec 300. Its not painted in the interior though.

    Case recommendations?

Try the Storm Scout. It has great cable management, is inexpensive $80 and it has built in handles. The handles are steel reinforced, and even though the case is steel its lightweight.

    The battle of the cases

Note the 600T is the only chassis there without a side panel intake fan. These really have helped to cool my CF cards, so my suggestion is either you settle for higher temperatures, or mod a hole in the side yourself.

    Good Cases fore 480GTX SLI?

Reading some reviews I would go with the HAF X. It was co-developed with nvidia to use the ducting that cools the video cards so they wont hit their thermal limit. For the HAF X, you will need a 100-150cfm fan in the front duct to blow into the video cards.

COOLER MASTER HAF 932 regular VS. the "Black Edition" verion

The black edition has one new feature that the HAF 932 doesn't have. The frame can support the nVidia GTX 480 SLI shroud. This area allows a high airflow fan to blow right into an SLI setup which allows 5-10C drop in temperature compared to a normal flow. The extra cooling I assume was...

NewEgg: CM HAF 932 Black w/Free Starcraft II - $160 shipped

It looks like a good deal since the HAF 932 Black is a limited edition around $179.99. So the newegg deal is pretty good. The original HAF 932 is a 2008 model, and the Black edition is a 2010 model with all black insides.

CM Hyper 212+ vs Rocketfish Universal

The rocketfish has a 92mm fan with 3 heatpipes. The CM Hyper 212, is 4 heatpipes with 120mm fan. So this means rocketfish could be Hyper Tx3, but not Hyper 212.

Cutting up a Storm Scout side panel...advice requested :-)

I would use a scorer, or xacto knife and work over the cutting point. Then using a tool like sharp garden shears or a metal cutting scissors snip them close to the score. Then finish up with a nail polishing file.

    Cooler Master HAF X Reviews

Well my HAF X is the best choice for XL-ATX support. The 800D, FT02 (I own one), ATCS 840 can't hold my EVGA 762 4-Way SLI motherboard size. My case may look like a tank, but the inside is unique. The beauty is in the functionality, and plus the plastic and steel are strong as hell. Its 31lbs...

    Best Gaming Case

LoL, actually I opened up my Silverstone and found out it would NOT fit my motherboard. If you look very closely the motherboard is XL-ATX (170-BL-E762-A1). With three way SLI GTX 480 it requires 8-9 PCI slots. Even the 800D would have problems accommodating my motherboard since it is longer...

    CM Storm Sniper question

One more thing, the front dust filter for the 200mm fan can be removed separately from the front bezel. It has the "micromesh" filter that does not allow the little dust bunnies to enter. If you have fine dust like from a desert sand, the mesh will not protect it as much. Lint and carpet dust...

    Lian Li...lol

I had a Lian-li, the material quality was top notch, but the cable management, tooling for screws and the ease of installation was very very hard. They have good ideas, just not a lot of focus. They launch so many variations of the same case.

    p180 -> CM 690 II - upgrade or downgrade?

I recently upgraded my brother's P180 to a new CM chassis. The problem with the P180 is not the looks or the quiet ness, its the interior room. The current design doesn't allow very good cable management without cutting, the holes in the lower portion require long PSU cables or extenders, and...

Hot! CM Storm Sniper and Sentinel Advance Mouse - $99 FS

The retail of the CM Storm Sniper is $149.99 and the Sentinel Advanced is $59.99. $99 for both is alot of saving. This means newegg bundle has a $110 savings. It's an amazing case with excellent airflow. BTW this is the black version with 3 x 200mm fans and an SSD drive adapter.:D The...

Can you reccomend a case $40-$80?

I know I have a CM 690 II Advanced which is $99, but let me post some pictures that should sway you to the CM 690 II basic. The cooling on the CM 690 II is near best of the best, and I can support 10 fans and 2 240mm radiators internally, which none of the above mentioned chassis can do...

Help - Picking out a Case

My vote is a CM 690 II. Check out this picture of 2 x 240mm radiators and a single loop. Kinda clean for a mid tower. To be honest, the CM 690 II cannot use a side fan when using a 120mm tower. However, if you choose the HAF 922, you can use any fan on the side panel and your Cogage.

New Corsair Air coolers at CEBIT

This is exactly the same specs as a Xigmatek s-1283 3x 8mm direct contact heatpipes. The fan mounting is a little different, but I hope Corsair doesn't plan on using push pin mounting. Push pins are too weak for 120mm tower coolers.
