You could hit up Ebay for a used 7900GTX. It involves slightly modding the E1705 case, but should work well.

The 7900 is a great card, but I'd avoid it in an E1705 if at all possible since it uses a single heat pipe (this lead to a lot of burnouts of GPUs) as opposed to the dual pipe of the M1710.

The pagefile is stil used with that amount of RAM; would it not still be beneficial, regardless of the usage, to have lesser consumption of power for the same task? Not to mention the hibernate state. I was hoping you'd see my qualifier 'in some circumstances.' ;)

Turbo Memory can also increase battery life by up to 30 minutes in some circumstances.

For gaming, 1530 > 1330 in graphic-intensive games. Although, I personally would stick with a 1440x900 resolution.

Well...the 8600 in the Vostro has DDR2 vs DDR3 in the 1530.

Just running through the beginnings of data structures, and I'm getting some unfortunate errors. The program is going to convert a Roman numeral into decimal form. The implementations several of the methods aren't complete, as I compiled early and with the listed code. I can't seem to figure out...
