Amazon's having weird bugs then. Before you posted I saw the sale price, saw a red countdown from just under an hour, and saw that it was 100% claimed with the option to get on the waitlist. Anyways. $150 after rebate is pretty good if you can get in on it... however their system works.

Given Intel's prices, AMD's prices, the CPU performance, and the HD4000 performance.... yes it is a deal at $80. However... this isn't $80. I'm seeing a $25 GC on a $137 chip... so the price is alright, but not great.

They're nice and cheap, but they are for commercial development use only. They ask for company information as part of user registration and when placing the order.

The 450W variant is $8. I wouldn't use one for a primary rig, but I would consider it for a replacement for an aging system, a power source to experiment with, or a test/emergency PSU. It's so cheap that there are certainly uses for it, even if the quality is questionable.

And there are plenty of places around with neither a fry's or a MC. They've got great deals and it's worth posting about them on these forums, but keeping up the undercut book and mortar comparisons with the online vendors seems a bit silly and tedious when the same point is made in every thread.

If you really think synchronous is worth so much the Pyro SE seems to be $15 more at newegg with the same rebate. I haven't paid much attention to the argument for synchronous over async, but the specs are almost identical. Care to fill me in, since I see people whining about this a lot...

It's more of an underpowered ultrabook. I didn't know they made a version with a single core APU, but I've got a very similar setup with an i5 470UM and I like it a lot. The form factor is quite nice (less than an inch thick), and you get a good bit of battery life and connectivity options...

Not for a single stick of 1600 MHz ECC Registered server memory. There isn't one available at that speed on newegg, but it's $30 cheaper than the 1333 MHz modules newegg has.

I liked the osmos demo and was thinking of buying it anyways... real nice to get the other games and get them on the desktop too. It's a good deal and they're drumming up a lot of chatter about independently developed games. Good on them.

An update from my end: the order status has been updated and shows that it will be back in stock on the 19th. Because I don't have tons of money, I've decided to just wait it out and get the cheaper price. I also don't believe the company is terrible, I called their customer service line...

Saw this floating around the rumor mill yesterday night... been waiting for this phone for ages and I'm glad I could get it under $200. I put my order in roughly 4 hours ago and it's still in the carrier approval stage, though I suspect there isn't much approving going on until businesses open.

The title is sort of misleading... a 6" combo (with chips or cookies and a drink) would be amazing for $2, where the 6" cold cut combo is still nice, but not nearly as cheap.

Yeah I don't think I've ever seen them at $15 before. If you've got natural gas in your house for heating or cooking, get one of these. Same goes if you have a wood stove or a fireplace you use.

Eh, $145 isn't worth it through ebay. With sapphire you have to RMA through the place you bought it from, so buying one on ebay is pretty close to just voiding your warranty.

Easy, it's not a WiFi device, it's another kind of high bandwidth wireless technology... The description says it won't transmit through walls and has a 2 second time delay so it's no good for video games... sounds like it would be extremely annoying for desktop use as well.

Eh... I got the same drive a couple months ago in the $140 range after a rebate. Warm maybe, but since the next gen has been announced (as well as the vertex 3 and phoenix II) it's not an amazing price.

I've got 8GB of the stuff that ran 1600MHz with a switch in BIOS for XMP and it's been rock solid stable for more than a year now without doing anything to it. I suppose everyone has their anecdotes, but as for any negative review of something, there's at least a dozen positive reviews.

For 2 cents a song, you can't really be too picky. Would be nice if they included the composer in the title of the piece though, "symphony no. 2" doesn't narrow it down that much unless you know the tune :)

They occasionally offer really low prices on hardware that's been discontinued, so it may not be. It could also be that it is to lure you in, but they were offering some for sale.

Except that at this price it's more affordable in terms of price per gigabyte than most SATA SSDs of similar size.... and no SATA II drive can touch this kind of performance.

That's not really true. I moved from a 4870 to a 5750 and did not see a significant performance decrease. However you get the features of the newer card and most importantly the power consumption of an hd5xx0 series card. The idle power of a 4870 is within 15 watts or so of the peak power...
