I have an LED-based 23 "inch monitor.
After using it for a few days, I feel my skin getting getting very dry and I'm constantly thirsty. Moreover, I feel that the room is dry and that all the moisture is sucked away.
Now I do not see the band here, LEDs are to be more environmentally...

LCD's are standard 60Hz refresh rate. But you can increase it to 75Hz to get better image quality in games.
What I wonder is if the increase will have a negative impact on the monitors input lag? If it takes e.g. 40ms for the image to show up at 60Hz will it now take e.g. 70ms?
Besides DVI...

This 226BW follow up is using an A-SI TFT technology. Anyone knows anything about A-SI? And does it have any negative impacts on input lag?

Ok let say I have a LCD that supports 100Hz. And a graphic card that supports 100Hz. Will that statement above still be valid, is the graphiccard still going to send the images twice 50Hz and 50Hz developing in input lag for the LCD?
I have read that DVI only can handle 60Hz refresh rate. But there is users that can run at 75Hz with DVI, so how is this explained?
What about HDMI, is that too regulated to 60Hz or does it go above 60Hz? If yes is it up to the cable or input/output of LCD and graphic card? What I mean can I...

If you have an ATI or...
In my Catalyst Control Center 7.7 I see that the highest resolution I can set my 17'' screen right now is 1440*900. I have a RADEON X800 series. Does this mean when I get a 22'' with 1650*1050 resolution I won't be able to set it to that resolution?
Is it worth waiting between SEP-JAN for a 22'' LCD TN screen? I'm a after a similar screen as the Samsung 226BW. In mind for it to have low response time and even more important low input lag. Will there be any release of a screen like this but more improved of them we see today?
