i mostly agree here. I've used cherry blues and topres and I'd say I use much less pressure when I type now since the actuation force is reliable and I don't have to mash membrane keys.
If you're having joint problems, go for the root causes. Fix your posture, use an ergo keyboard like the...
Koans are a great way to start learning the basic mechanics of a language. I'd check out Java koans paired with a good starter book- I'm not familiar with any. If Ruby interests you, I work with it daily and I found it and it's community a great resource.

and if you find...
https://github.com/xdissent/ievms - I use these for testing IE7/8/9 on osx, as the others are available natively.
I don't see how anything else changes from a browser compat standpoint.. you still have to test on as many browsers as you officially support, regardless of your development...
Have to pimp out Rails. As a framework it's not perfect, but as a dev in the Ruby world I can't imagine a friendlier industry, nor one I am more spoiled in.
If you are a competent engineer, Ruby (and most likely Rails, at least as a buzzword) is definitely a path you should check out.
The beta is a ton of fun to play and is a really unforgiving game. None of the bullshit killstreaks and perks that make the recent call of duty games a joke.
I used the Scythe Big Shuriken on the ECS H57 mini-itx board, but with mini-itx boards it's tough to be sure what layouts are compatible. Hopefully someone else can chime in. Just make sure you mount the cooler before installing the motherboard!
Looks like you've already done the requisite research.
The PNY card makes me sad, but it does have a lifetime warranty and I haven't had personal experience with them so I can't really speak on that. Generally companies like EVGA and XFX provide outstanding service with varying quality...
A related but not specific solution would be to use f.lux, which I love. Changes the color temperature depending on time, but you can easily toggle it manually if you want.

Has anyone gotten a response from Hazro recently? I've emailed since I'm interested in buying one or getting on some sort of waitlist once they come back in stock... :\
Didn't know it was that bad. 300 concurrent :(
I was keeping tabs on the previews as they were released and I loved the games they were looking to combine (Mirror's Edge, TF2, Borderlands?) so it's a bummer to see the game do poorly.
I also don't understand why easily removable dust filters aren't universal. Silverstone even has them on the FT03, so it's not like they don't know how to do it. :\
While Idra's rage is easy to make fun of, I think it reveals that his bottleneck right now is his composure and when he figures that out (and he's made tons of progress in the last few months) I think his game is going to get to the highest levels.
Ruby is definitely a great language to get some experience with now- I just graduated and I can't imagine an easier job search after having had a great RoR internship with a local consulting firm.
Koans are a great tool, but you can also do things like practice implementing algorithms in Ruby...
If cost savings are worthwhile, it might not be a terrible idea to consider just using university computers where the performance is needed- I know our architecture and civil engineering labs have FirePro cards (ATi equiv of Quadro) as of a couple years ago.
If it turns out that won't work (or...
Sure. Going solid state will give you the single biggest boost, followed by picking a motherboard that supports UEFI. As mentioned already, disabling any extra features you don't need (sata, legacy controllers, etc) will help as well. Otherwise, I think the differences will be fairly minimal...
i don't know... i think an incontrol/artosis combination would just be the bomb. Two really confident casters that are professional enough to play constructively off of each other, even though they disagree often.
This is pretty reasonable. I don't think it's possible to make a game changing case unless you make specific sacrifices- those being a full 5.25" slot, full atx psu, and full length/height video card. A lot of SFF cases now are pretty damn good on space already for the accommodations they provide.
Boo :(
The habey's form factor is reaaaaaaally sweet, but the styling of the vent holes and button in the middle are so bleah. Good to hear that the chassis itself is solid though.
