Well, oddly enough, I get the same message of incompatibility for Worms when visiting the webpage, but since I simply clicked on the app in the Amazon App store instead on my phone and tablet, I can only presume it is a website bug. Needless to say, Worms, Runtastic Pro, and Monopoly all work fine.
You just need to install the AppStore (as linked in OP), and get it through it. The apps are still plain ol' Android apps. They have daily free apps, so definitely worth having, if for no other reason.
Amazon is celebrating the birthday of their AppStore with a number of paid apps for free on Friday and Saturday only.

You do not need to own an Amazon tablet. Any Android device can get them, if you install their appstore.
It depends on what you want. My first tablet was 7 inches. For reading it was fine, but for anything else, I found myself constantly wishing it was just a bit bigger. For web browsing, PDFs, movies, or even comic viewing, the difference in size will be notable.

It can be used for navigation anyhow, thanks to the GPS, and you can always tether to your phone if absolutely necessary, but as a WiFi model, it is what it is. Even the Samsung Galaxy Pro 8.4 is $399 for the WiFi only model.
I have a Nook HD+ 8.9-inch (1920x1280), which was my second tablet...

This particular crop of Android games is really a superb deal if you go for the full unlocked purchase (minimum $4.54 as of this post):
Ravensword: Shadowlands - A Skyrim wannabe, but very well done, and released only a few months ago. Retails or $6.99
Carmageddon - This is a huge classic from...
Actually he was right, but not because of the charity thing (though it is a worthwhile consideration). Crusader Kings II is only about a year old and is a truly brilliant game.
I'll be honest, it was my first Paradox game, having read it was insanely fun and accessible. It does have a...
The latest Humble Bundle weekly deal is up and for strategy fans it is really sweet:
The sponsor company is Paradox, makers of great strategy games (the greatest IMHO), and the initial offer is:
$1 for
Europa Universalis III Complete (I have been looking for a nice deal on this for some time...
I just bought the unlocked LG Optimus 4x HD for $285 at Amazon (a fairly typical price) and it is amazing bang for the buck.
In a nutshell:
- quad-core Tegra 3 (4 x 1.5GHz - goes to 1.7GHz)
- 4.7 inch screen, 1280x720
- 16GB internal Ram (expandable)
- replaceable battery (cost $10)...
Not terribly. You choose between ~80 heroes and need to break down the enemy fortress with a team of five. The vast number is designed to force you to not only master your hero, but also all the others you fight against, in order to achieve skillful play. There is only one map. It does have one...
It is called knowledge vs. ignorance, and you are obviously 100% correct. It has to do with the endless lack of understanding of even the most basic aspects of nutrition and weight. Still, it could be worse: the book could be recommending a fatless or extremely low-fat diet. That would have...
It is worse than that. Notice how for millions of years the evolving human race has been dying, and they have been drinking water and breathing air. Coincidence? Obviously not.

I agree it should. Just bear in mind that some things like games or vids can take up a lot of space. I bought Bard's Tale in the app store, for $3, and it is a perfect adaptation of the PC game, and extremely well-done, but it requires 1.8 to 3.5GB of files, depending on whether you use high res...
Agreed and the game is a really well-done. They did a fantastic job of cleaning up the single most boring aspect of the original: the movement points for EVERYTHING, including turning around. The game used to slow down to a turtle's pace and take 15 mins to do a single turn. Got old very quickly.
The new Humble Bundle is up and for all games that have an Android version (like Dungeon Defenders), they are included as well!
The games are:
Beat Hazard Ultra
Dynamite Jack
Solar 2
NightSky HD
Pay more than the average of $6.74 (as of this writing) to unlock:
Splice
Super...
It won't play recent games at full res (1080p) fluidly at highest quality, with few exceptions. Here is a practical reply with no charts. I prefer a fluid playing experience over an extra notch of whatever. Choppiness kills a game more than anything for me.
Skyrim - I play it with some 30+...
Yes, that is what it means. I own the machine and can say that 4 months after buying it, am still in love with it. The screen is exceptionally good FWIW.
The games are:
Far Cry 3
Hitman Absolution
Saints Row the Third
Medal of Honor : Warfighter
Sleeping Dogs
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War GOTY edition
Titan Quest
These are all digital versions with keys for activation.
