Something new that should happen: :o :D
S-IPS/H-IPS panels VERY CHEAP and competing with TN ones to takeover the market... plus, having better response time, more input connections... :(
About 1:1 pixel mapping:
I thought this feature was working this way, sorry if I am talking nonsense:
Let's say 1920x1200 (or even 1920x1080) was the native resolution.
If you wanna display any lower resolution, such as 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1600x1050, whatever, if you were using one 1:1...
Folks,
I have this monitor and after looking into the different sets of configurations, I wasn't able to find out the answers I was looking for. Maybe you can help me on that.

Short questions for all of you: :)
1) What are the differences between the BenQ E2200HD and E2400HD other than the size of screen?
2) What are the measurements from the BenQ E2200HD (and E2400HD if you know, please). Please, only consider the glass/display itself, not the rest. See the...
I was able to find one brazilian store that was willing to import this monitor - www.waz.com.br - BenQ E2400HD and they offered me a product warranty of almost 12 months.
But they charged me R$ 2.000 which is, from today's currency, US$ 880 (others were charging even more). Why it's so...
Any thoughts about the BenQ E2400HD? Perhaps this model can suit your needs? :)
What about being HDCP-compliant? 1:1 pixel mapping? I think these are also determinant factors for any purchase...

So far, this is the only virtual store that is selling LCDs that I am interested, and ships internationally. All other stores do not ship outside US/Canada, and some have restrictions over a few countries in their list.
I was thinking about purchasing one monitor...
It was deactivated...

Probably for some reason, perhaps it was replaced by some new model from the same company.
Regarding my previous questions, after reading the BENQ E2200HD review on Anandtech, I might add something to my needs:
- A LCD monitor capable of displaying every resolution under his native one using the Full/Aspect/Overscan and 1:1 pixel mapping at best, that means, if the LCD is using...
For the record, the BENQ E2400HD is available on Newegg for US$ 360:

And I wasn't able to contact BENQ directly, the emails are bouncing back to me.
I am from Brazil, but I can buy things from Newegg and Amazon, from a store which deals with them directly. BENQ G2400W(D) is not available anymore for a resonable price, it was out of stock on Newegg and Amazon just raised the price from 380 to 420 $ in a matter of days.
Only the V2400W is...
I've been using CRTs for at least 11 years, my last model was the Samsung SyncMaster 997MB (19") bought in 2004 (and it's still here). I did some research about LCDs, it looks like no one can never be 100% sure which model can fit my needs.
I am going to use my monitor specially to watch...
