Found this at Evga forums (usa site) : https://forums.evga.com/Guest-RMA-is-not-working-on-the-US-Website-EVGA-Has-Removed-This-Feature-m2791341.aspx
This has me abit concerned the way this was done and makes me abit worried about Evga's warranty policies once again. Sorry, but I have reasons...
From my experience and simular question about custom cables for my SS Platinum 760 , NO the cables are NOT interchangeable . For my Platinum 760 it was noted ONLY buy custom cables specifically made for my unit ; and Iam sure the new Titanium series is the same in that reguard .
1.35 volts is getting on the higher side of things , so I'd imagine a large part of the temps is from that ., even at idle .
If I run my 5930k at 1.3v (@ 4.5) and possibly above , my temps ramp up fast compared to @ 4.4 1.25v ; easily 10-15c+ difference on a Corsair H100i GTX .
Also , is...
Interesting to see that this thread is still going after all this time .
I still have a working unit , but Ive already replaced the psu once with another original out of a unit that had a a broken screen done by a family member .
Ive gone to a larger lcd since the Soyo and no longer really...
My Evga 560Ti's run an average of of 67-75c in most games , a rare few games like Metro , etc get the cards up to 80-82c ;
I did change the tim on both , but one card was way hotter than the other orginally by 12c+ (no matter what slot or possition , etc) ; but now both are pretty equal...
Depending on your budget ....
I agree to possibly upgrade your monitor for a higher res to get more enjoyment out your gaming .
Next , depending again on budget (after a new monitor) I may suggest grabbing a second GTX275 for SLi (mobo willing). I have no problems with ANY games including...
I have not seen any (posted or other wise) , but its fairly straight forward and pretty easy to do to be honest . I dont see anyone having any problems , but I would suggest having a very small (tiny) flat head screw driver just to be able to help un-do some of the inside wiring clips/connectors .
Thx both bradsh and rirdate for the info .
I have been somewhat keeping tabs on the the SD thread for awhile now about the TaoBao page (just incase the info was needed) . I do agree its probably a good idea to grab and extra psu while I can (even with my temp fix/psu swap out I did on my...
Well my July '07 unit finally quit on me , no warning at all or previous problems ; it just shut off .
Luckly I had another unit (Aug '07) that my dad had but he had somehow cracked the actual screen (by accident) .He was going to throw it out but I asked to keep it for parts (mainly psu) ...
Noticed two different labels and price on this stuff . Weird , but maybe a whole different batch , manufacturer . http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817507004
Slysoft products always get a "10" rating in MaximumPC every year . I myself and as many others here have been using Slysoft goodies for years .... no worries mate .
Personaly , if pc gaming software does not improve (games themselves, story line ,etc ) , and quit porting everything ; man I see no reason to upgrade . As it is now my 2x275's are just going to waste with the crap thats getting put out these days .
Iam in no hurry to upgrade till things...
