I did not check the MTU.. I talked with a friend who also has the same ISP and he told me a few things... - call tech support and ask to be transfered to 2nd layer (no idea what that is) - ask for a homologated IP address (i have a very rough idea what that is) - ask for the HDCP settings so...

Its cheap!!! I'm buying it for my 25.5" lcd. It says its only for monitors up to 24" but so did my LCD mounting arm and that is working fine.

there's nothing blocking it... that side exhaust fan is... like 4 inches away...

yeah. you're right. im dumb. anyways - my point was that the side exhaust fan does not starve it from air.

The GTX285 does not draw air from the side... the card has no vents on the side (the ribs you see in the pic below are not vents), it draws air from outside the case - below the DVI connectors.

Also, I am not sure if I should remove the heatsink to replace the thermal compound... from what I've seen/heard online, is that some video cards use a thick thermal compound on some of the memory chips because there is some space between heatsink and chip... so if I remove the heatsink to put...

ok it might be AF.. its a setting in game that goes 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x... figured it was AA... might be AF... not sure Im at work right now. I have an Antec 750 watt PSU

I was able to play for 2 hours with Shadows disabled and lowered Antialiasing while temps stayed under 80 degrees Celsius. As soon as I enabled shadows and bumped AA up, temperatures over 80 degrees caused artifacting and I preemptively shut down the game to avoid another lock up.

Considering HardOCP's core audience, I don't think the HardOCP guild would be as hardcore as you are... IF it existed - which I have no clue if it does.

I'd love to see a video card that is more silent than today's high performance video cards. I cannot game DX10+ games without having to set the GPU fan to 85% + on a roomy, high airflow aluminum case... Nothing sucks more than having that annoying fan going while I game.

I work from 4PM to midnight every day at the datacenter... so when I get home, people are asleep. I urgently need a quality pair of headphones so I can game after work without waking up the house and neighbors! Big ups Corsair for giving back to the community... and Hard OCP of course!

Just wanted to thank eVGA for RMAing my 9800 GX2. Now With the GTX 285 replacement and 186 nvidia drivers, my PC has not had a single crash or video error!!! I will probably skip the 19x. generation of drivers to avoid any issues :)
