There is a joke in this thread ... I think it involves geeks giving up thier lunch money rather than fighting back. Helpless victims make violent crime lucrative and cowards give criminals the courage they would lack if regularly confronted with resitance.

People who do not resist perpetuate the problem; criminals are looking for helpless victims the more times they commit crimes without facing resistance the more likely they are to try again. Cowardly people create problems for all of us, and it starts younger than you might think.

The odd part is that it used to be fairly easy to check the leaked bios against what was posted on the Asus DK site, where are these comming from?

I had good luck with http://www.resellerratings.com/store/EXcaliberPC they shipped faster than Newegg.

Asus had a tendency to post any new bios files on their German website, that doesn't appear to be the case anymore... I'm lacking motivation to find it since I don't have any problems (other than one of my Hitachi 500GB drives being DOA) but maybe another region has taken it's place.
